We were on a hunting trip and another fellow mentioned this cafe. We stopped in and it was fantastic. I had a burger. The patty was well cooked, juicy and seasoned. The grilled onions and special sauce made it a homerun. My wife and friend had the chicken fried steak. They didnt pull it out of the freezer and throw it in the grease. It was hand battered, seasoned and cooked well. Served with mashed potatos, gravy and okra. All were top notch. You will not leave hungry. This place...
New owner of restaurant has nothing to hang her head about on what I had, burger was really tasty. The guys with me loved her homemade BBQ sauce and queso, French fries where really good. I will be back to try other stuff for sure??
I ordered the catfish and shrimp special. The shrimp was very good but the catfish was mushy and very strong tasting. Server didn't bring tartar sauce or cocktail sauce and we weren't able to get her attention to ask for it. Cole slaw was delicious.
