Food was pretty poor quality and taste. Even the cheese cake tasted like it had been left in the freezer for days! And we got there within an hour of it opening. Plus there was never anyone at the carving station or Asian Mongolian station.

Hard cornbread. Hard fish. Soup is old and discolored. Food is not very good. Desserts are limited and not apealing. Lack of food choices. Layout is confusing.

Had fried chx. It was so old. Probably from day before and reheated. Salad was old, everything was old! No flavor! Just old! Nothing was fresh. I was sick rest of the night. You will be gambling with being sick if you eat here.

We stayed 3 nites for a family wedding and actually had 3 rooms. The front desk was very nice to put us all on the same floor and close together. The rooms are large and very nice. Our 1st nite was great and quiet but Friday there was a lot of noise and commotion starting about 3:30am! Saturday was fine until the person next door started talking on the phone loudly at 6am Sunday morning - walls are very thin. There is no housekeeping unless you are there multiple nites, they will bring fresh towels and extras if needed. They only supply shampoo, conditioner and lotion. A plus is a fridge and coffee maker in the rooms. If you leave a tip for your housekeeper be sure to leave a note or they can’t take it. The location was great for our wedding venue and not far from DT Ft Smith. The staff were all professional and friendly.

Been going to this casino for over 10 years and it has been in a nose dive for the past three years. In the last month alone on numerous visits I have spent over 1000 dollars per visit and won not one red cent, played 25- 50 cent machines dollar and five and ten dollar machines same results. It is not a place you can go to to just have some fun anymore because it will cost you at least 100 dollars for about 30 minutes of play just betting small denominations. They are now offering trinket gifts to lure you into the casino or the kiosk game in which you half to spend twenty dollars to get one point to play and the kiosk will give you five dollars in free play (seriously). The restaurant food has went from not bad to just awful, cold food leftovers overcooked. This is the only entertainment there was in the local area now it’s absolutely no use in going anymore you won’t win anything, to expensive to just to go play for fun, can’t enjoy the food anymore so there no incentive to go to Roland casino anymore. Drive the extra 15 minutes to Pacola Choctaw casino and there is a chance you might actually win or at least enjoy playing for a while because you will at least get some return for your money. Complained to management about a recent visit where I won over 20 free games on a penny machine betting 8.50 and won nothing at all . I was told my expectations were to high and I should be coming for the fun of playing and should not be expecting to win ( excuse me but that is a slap in the face why in the hell do they think people go to the casino to watch the bells and whistles I think not). The only entertainment at Roland anymore is watching someone who is losing hundreds of dollars an hour punching a machine or listening to elderly couples cussing like a sailor in disbelief of how they can’t win, another social security check gone! have visited other Cherokee casinos in Oklahoma and actually had a great meal and won a little money nothing like the Roland Casino.

Win win win and then Starbucks in the morning! Nice rooms cute little casino and I always win there the quarter machines always pay good and food and employees are always friendly and helpful! We come a lot to get away but not too far away! A good short getaway spot!

Will never go there again. I ordered twochef salads to go. I wish I would have opened them before I left. It was like somebody had just mowed the grass soggy cucumbers what I could find them and the same with tomatoes they weren’t from yesterday they were from who knows-when. If you pick up the salad, always check order. I’ve had bad food before. But I thought I was on a quiz show or candid camera what a joke. Ginny knight

Wheelchair accessibility: Do you not try?

We stayed one night stay in a wheelchair accessible room. Room was spacious, accommodating and very clean. Plenty of room to get a chair around in the bathroom. Staff was friendly and helpful. We ate in the ā€œgrab and goā€ cafe where you order at the counter. I had French dip for dinner and breakfast sandwich in the morning, both were reasonably priced and quite tasty. Complimentary soft drinks and coffee. The casino area is big and new looking (to me) and while I think there is smoking in the gaming area it was hard to tell, it didn’t seem bad to my non-smoking self. Plenty of free parking worth security patrolling the lot. I’m sure we will stay here again when we pass through.

I highly recommend the Cherokee Hotel and Casino in Roland, Oklahoma. The staff are friendly, rooms are quite nice and spacious. Secure elevator to your room. This is my second night to stay here - I liked it so much, I decided to stay on my return trip.

I chose this hotel because the location was at the distance I wanted to travel. The staff was mixed, some were friendly and engaged, others were not so much. We wanted to get a cart to load our luggage and take it to the room. They had odd rules about that. They called an employee to bring a cart to our car, and then to take it to the room. The employee was not able to come inside the room, and the cart couldn't be brought into the room. My husband was not happy with that, so the next morning he got permission to get a cart and bring it into the room to load. Thankfully, they did make an exception to their rule about that.

Very nice casino and the staff is great. 10 free RV sites 5 with full gook ups. Casino is very clean. They have a buffet and another place with food. There is also a gas station here and a diner right next door. Highly recommend. Anytime we get back in the area we will be sure to stop here
