With the me recommendation is everything especially the sweet tea! All of place Sallisaw will make you at home and part of the family, but Charlie’s will make you feel like you’re at grandma’s house and thanksgiving day. They will fill your plates up where the foods fall off of your plate, and will put an ear to ear smile on your face, you will not forget this place. I have been coming here since I was 6 years old and they have not let me down with their friendliest and I will never stop coming here, I just have to say is that I love this restaurant and I love the people who work there and I am so thankful for them. So to everyone who is close and whoever pass through Sallisaw ever if you’re on the interstate hit the exit ramp and get some food from here, I promise you will asking for more especially when you get the buffet. Again you will not regret stopping by!!!!

Alright, apparently they were out of chicken chunks, and my grandma had bought chicken strips instead, all I have to say is that they are AWFUL I don't know how to exactly describe the taste but it doesn't taste even remotely like chicken. It tastes like what I would imagine throwing up chicken you ate would taste like, the mashed potatoes were good though, that's the only good thing. This is why I never eat at Charlie's chicken, thanks?

Love the Sunday buffet at Charlie’s! The whole fam enjoys it and I’ve been eating here my whole life ❤️

Overpriced for the buffet choices you get. Old stuff barely enought out for the amount of customers. Hot food was cold cold food was hot. Building is run down and needs updated. Will not be returning.

Stopped here on the way through town for church camp. Brought about 30 so we called ahead a couple days before to make sure they had space and such. Not only were they warm and welcoming, but they laid out plates, napkins and silverware for us ahead of time! Even the owner was present to welcome us with a smile! The food was great as well!

Got 3 piece chunk dinner. The mashed potato and gravy was old and cold. The Mac and cheese was old and was barely warm. The roll was burnt on one side and cold. The chicken was old and cold. Very disappointed in the quality of the food and the rudeness of the employee's

Delicious! We got to-go brisket, fried chicken, and chicken salad for a road trip and have loved every bit of it. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Wow, I'm am blown away by this place! The chicken was piping hot, the rolls were warm and oh so soft while the service from the front cashier was top notch! I am going again next time I'm in town.
