I'm giving a 5 star review! This place was so clean, that's the 1st thing I notice when walking in to a restaurant. We had the sweetest young lady as our waitress, she was very informative of the menu and specials. We were waited on promptly, had our meals in a timely fashion. I had the 10 Oz sirloin and my husband had the ribeye...both cooked to perfection!!! And quite tasty, if I might add!!! Salad was made with fresh veggies, and baked sweet potato with brown sugar and cinnamon was to die for! Reasonably priced. We will definitely be back!!!
My visit to J&D's was great! On a Tuesday afternoon with a steady flow of people dining, our waitress was very attentive and friendly. The Cowtown Drip sandwich was excellent and more than enough food. The prices are also very reasonable. Hope to return on a future visit to Sallisaw.

First time at J&D’s Steakhouse and it did not disappoint. I had the Drip Sandwich and he has the catfish dinner, both were great. Service was great, friendly staff, clean, and a large menu. We will be back. I wish I could remember our waitress name. She was great.
It's a great place for lunch or supper. Has a full bar, great staff, little Emma, Kim, Tammy, Brittany, all great. My go to place in Sallisaw.

They were busy when we arrived at 6pm, but were seated within 2 minutes. We didn't have to wait too long for our orders to be filled. The portions were large and the food freshly cooked. The ribeye was very thin and grilled longer than asked for, but was delicious. Very nice atmosphere. They serve alcohol. Waitress was very attentive and kept our drinks filled.

Yah I don't usually do this but if y'all eat here for dinner, I'd eat lunch first because we genuinely waited 2 hours for our food. I get it, they get busy, I've worked in the food business, but I've never made someone wait 30 minutes for their drinks too. Our waitress was sweet, but her talking to friends instead of serving us had me up and asking just for a drink 2 different times. After that, we get a $1 discounT. Won't be here again.
I had to ask for a shot of Patron to go in my drink. You couldn’t tell it had any! My husband got his food and almost finished his not so great sandwich while I sat and watched him eat waiting on mine! Our server was very friendly though. On the plus side. Mine was delicious.
We had a sirloin and ribeye. The only flavor was salt. Steaks tenderness matched their cut. The ribeye was long and flat. The marbling was good. We've eaten here before and it was OK. This is first time for steaks, and will be the last for steaks. Great wait staff.

Prime rib sandwich, what the hell did I actually get? I have photos I can send you if you wish, but, truth be known, I don't expect your response.....

We had a great time at J&D’s this evening. Awesome service, friendly atmosphere, and the food was delicious! Thank you so much for making us feel so welcome this evening. Will definitely be back!
My friend and I happened upon this place while walking to a different restaurant and decided to take a chance. We don't live in sallisaw so we had never heard of it. I'm so glad we did. It's hard to find a good chicken fried steak but this one hit all the marks. The potato's were REAL! The okra was crispy and the beer was cold. Clean environment and friendly staff. 10/10. I will go out of my way to eat there again if the chance arises.
First time customer visited steakhouse on 10/18/2024. Cost $35.17 for myself. I ordered the 12oz Ribeye (MR), house salad, baked potato and texas toast ($29.00). Plus $5.00 tip The salad was a great surprise. Not your usual house salad. The steak was huge, but only around a quarter inch thick with a small baked potato. I am thinking this was a select cut of meat, not choice or prime cut. They also offer a Ribeye Sandwich. When I first saw the thichness of the steak. My thought was this should go in a sandwich. I will come back and try something else.
