I just had the best Coney of my life at 3:36 PM at Deans Coney Island! I grew up on Coney Islander in Tulsa. I love that place! I have tried (over the span of 25 years) hundreds of Coneys. There are 2 that have made the cut Reds in Claremore (he closed up shop to travel) and Deans Coney Island. Perfect experience

I grew up in Sand Springs, IMO these are the best ? dogs EVER. Even beating downtown Tulsa. Don't know why the Karen's post neg reviews, ( even the dude ) .

I went there once when I first moved to town the guy working the counter was SO WARM AND FRIENDLY IT MADE ME NEVER WANT TO GO BACK!!!
I DON'T KNOW WHAT HIS PROBLEM WAS BUT IF ITS THAT BAD HE PROBABLY SHOULD HAVE CLOSED FOR THE DAY!!!
if it was a kid I'd said it was just a bad employee but it was a older gentlemen that should have known better!!!
I tell my employees to always smile even if they hate the customer and want to do great bodily harm to the SMILE!!!

Dean's is a long time local Coney Island operational since 1974. It is a clean and tidy restaurant with kind staff who listen to your order. However it has a secret recipe for their chili, which I did not care for it at all. For me, it tastes like just another Coney Island; which strongly tastes of cinnamon and clove. Since it's a personal preference, it's not fair to judge too harshly. Of the area Coney Islands, I this one ranks above them.
Kid-friendliness: There is an everyday lunch special specifically for students when school is in session.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is no step up into the restaurant from the shopping center walkway. There is a simple door threshold, the chairs are light and can easily be moved.
