Ron's Hamburgers & Chili

Came here and ordered a Philly cheese steak. Will say it was awful to much cheese pluse wrong cheese for a Philly cheese steak. You can't even taste the meat.

Will not ever eat there again. I went cause I wanted a big fat juicy cheese burger like you see when ordering online but it was just a burnt ass smash burger dry like cardboard. When I told them about it they refused to do anything about my meal so I will never go back. It is trash

Great food, great service, best sweet iced tea!

Everything is a bit better when dining in instead of takeout. The prices are fantastic. The burgers are the best I've had in town, though the bun could use upgrading. It's often pretty soggy just from sauce within 10 mins of being made. Good enough to keep them from 3 stars over the pickles.
The 1st time I had their fried pickles they were the best I ever had, very crispy, but not dark breading, nicely seasoned. They even kept crispy in the fridge a couple days. Just perfect, however I've had them a few times since and they've been closer to the worst I've had. Immediately very soggy breading.
The roommates like the bacon cheese fries a lot, but I think they're soggy pretty quick too.

Being from Houston spoiled on great food and being here 6 years, you can take my word to the bank.

I would have shared a photo but I got to eating rather quickly. I had the Big Daddy Cheese burger. . 100% recommend. If you are looking for the perfect burger, ( if you know -you know)Ron’s has it. Pure Heaven. I also stole some of my Sisters fries, they were no disappointment either.

Delicious food, great service. 10/10 recommend.

This was our first time visiting, and we went based on multiple recommendations from friends and family---but it was just not a good experience for us.

The french fries looked good but ended up being completely soggy. The fried pickles tasted like bland flour and salt....extremely salty....just hamburger dills....dipped in salted flour...the double cheeseburgers had almost zero flavor. My daughter didn't even finish her bacon cheese fries because no one liked how soggy the fries were.

The only positive exception was my son's baon cheeseburger, which turned out great.

This was a 1-star experience, but the staff was very nice and my son got a good item, so bumping it up for that.

I am guessing we got an odd bad experience, but it was so rough we will probably not try again unless we go with someone else.

Popped in for a quick dinner. Atmosphere is friendly, plenty of seating tables and booths. Young wait staff ~ quick and friendly. Huge menu and large portions.
The grilled chicken salad is very good large chunks of chicken. I had to have some chili cheese fries ~ the best in town.
They don’t have croutons.
Everything at Ron’s is very good.

Very friendly and knowledgeable! I called in an order for a veggie burger. He did let me know that it was going to go down in the fryer so cross-contamination would not make it 100% vegan since they do fried chicken ect. I love how upfront he was and how he knew that. That meant that they actually thought about it and not just told me what I wanted to hear cause it could have possibly meant I wasn't going to buy their veggie burger I did. I tried it. It was a very good one and I would recommend it to others.
