Was driving through and stopped for dinner. Open light was on but sign in window was flipped to closed. We walked in and were ignored. Cashier got on the phone to call someone saying she couldn't close early now because customers just walked in. (Talking about us but never to us) said the sign was flipped however the open light was lit, online they were open until 7, and the door was open... We were very excited to try this place but it wasn't happening.

Sams never let's me down! Great food, people are polite AF, and the restaurant was super clean! ?Wait was a little on the longer side but the food definitely was worth it!Sadly the were out of hush puppies though ... dang it haha those alone are worth the trip to Sams!

Green tomatoes as expensive as a burger. No visits to the table for refills after order. Had to order twice because they were only listening to the other person with me and didn’t get my order.

Stopped in while walking around the Route 66 Christmas Chute because the smell drew us in. The fish was amazing! Crispy on the outside and flakey on the inside. The shrimp were huge and fried to perfection. I loved the red beans and rice and the green beans. Everything had so much flavor. The food is served in to-go containers even if you dine in. Not a big deal, though because you’d most likely be taking some home, anyway! I’d definitely go back if in the Sapulpa area!

This is the absolute best Sam’s we have ever eaten at! We were visiting Sapulpa to check out the Route 66 Christmas Chute and we’re looking for somewhere to eat. We saw Sam’s Southern Eatery and we were reluctantly first, but decided to try it. I had the catfish and my wife had a burger. Both were great! Helpings are pretty big, so you definitely won’t leave hungry.
