This is such a great restaurant to have in Sapulpa! We have been there 4-5 times and everything on the menu has been delicious. Some of our favorites are the spinach artichoke dip, steak, pork chops, and glazed carrots. Definitely worth a try! It’s sad more people don’t go here more.
Service 10/10. Chicken was great taste and alot of food for price. Definitely would go back.
I thought I wanted to go give them a try but afraid to know, cold food and the chance of getting food poisoning means I AM OUT.
Visited for a birthday, went for lunch. Fantastic chicken salad croissant, amazing fries. Waited was very attentive, but the inside of the place….. it’s beautiful. Gives a vibe of old fashioned soda fountain on one side, coffee bar on the other and at the back alcoholic beverages. Very tasteful decor, great 1880s early 1900s feel. Loved it.
2 1/2hours wasted on cold food that is Extremely overpriced, slow service, not enough staff, limited choices to top it off it made us sick afterwards!
After strolling the Chute, we stopped in to celebrate my daughter’s birthday with a nice dessert and drink. We were told by the hostess to order directly at the dessert counter. The waiter asked if it was to go or dine in. I told her to dine in and she served our order on plates. The front hostess then told us we could not be seated at a table because they were for customers. We had just been served two slices of cheesecake, a cup of ice cream and was in the process of ordering three sodas. I thought I was a customer. Those items were not free. There were approximately 4-5 tables occupied so I estimate about 85% of their tables were available when we visited at about 4:00 pm on a Monday.
An usually decorated diner in the heart of Sapulpa offering a good range of salads, sandwiches and full meals. Staff were attentive and the meals we had were ample and good value.
This is a really good restaurant in downtown Sapulpa. There is a varied selection, something for everyone. And, it's right on Route 66.
My wife & I invited friends to join us for the Christmas Chute in Sapulpa. I made reservations for this restaurant as part of our holiday experience. Earlier in the week, I read some reviews that were concerning but we decided to keep our reservations and we are very glad we did. Know this: make a reservation if you’re going during this downtown seasonal celebration. The ladies before us were told the wait was 45 minutes, but we were immediately escorted straight to our table. The food was excellent- the two guys had steaks (cooked perfectly), his wife had the chicken picatta and said it was very good, and my wife, who loves burgers, loved her smashburger. The service was excellent and the desserts were delicious. I don’t write reviews often, but I wanted anyone reading reviews for this place to know we were all glad we didn’t allow a couple negative reviews to discourage us from what turned into a very pleasant experience.
I escorted a group of 22 people to Crossroads Cookery last night and our experience was outstanding. I made our reservation several weeks ago and the owner himself shepherded me through the reservation process, responding to all of my calls so that I was reassured, despite previous reviews. They also had no problem with my request for separate checks for everyone. Much to my surprise, the owner met our bus in the parking lot and escorted us to the restaurant, giving us some Sapulpa history and an overview of the Christmas Chute on the way. We were greeted warmly at the host stand and taken almost immediately to our tables, which were all in one area together. The wait for our salads was only slightly longer than I might have hoped but, after that, everything was served very efficiently. The wait staff was very professional. The lasagna was delicious and our meat connoisseur was quite impressed by his nice, thick steak. Portions were very generous and the Holiday Menu prices are quite reasonable. All 22 of us were comfortably served, paid, and on our way in 80 minutes. I was very impressed and look forward to returning after the Christmas Chute and experiencing their full menu. Thank you for a lovely evening!

Terrible service and we didnt even get to sit at a table. Was told 30 minutes and that turned in to an hour and a half to be told it would be another 30 to 45 minutes and that they needed 5 to 6 minutes to get their list together to get a better idea of where we fell on the list. A couple before us waited over 2 hours and never made it to their table. In that 3 and a half hour time there was one table that never had anyone sat at it. It was a low top 4 seat table. I had even suggested sitting us at that table due to them sitting another group so close to that table that the groups would have been right on top of each other. I understand food service and the hospitality industry. I was extremely patient I waited until 10 minutes after my original quoted time to check our place in line and told them that was fine. We were told there were two groups ahead of us. Watched as numerous other groups including numerous two top groups get sat, and then checked in again at an hour and 15 minute wait to be told there were 5 groups in front of us and of those 5 groups 2 groups of 2 in front of us. I would suggest not using paper and integrating your waitlist with your online reservation list and always quoting your patrons double what your hostesses tell people as it will likely still be longer than that, or don't take reservations on Fridays and Saturday evenings when you are located in the middle of an extremely busy holiday attraction. Tanner (the "manager") may need to take some lessons in management and how not to be rude to their patrons who had been extremely patient given the timelines his staff told them. I would say next time we will try it out by making a reservation, but we likely will not try again.
We got reservations weeks in advance for a large group dining during the Christmas Chute. The table was ready promptly and the staff was very accommodating. We had a great waitress, in spite of how busy they were. The restaurant is decorated so cute and a fun atmosphere. Sounds pretty good but then the food came out. I think the people that got the cheeseburgers were happy with their meals but those of us that got the Chicken Piccata were disappointed. The menu said two chicken breasts and we each only got one. Menu needs to be corrected since I had planned on having one for lunch the next day. And...yikes! That sauce was nothing like I've had before. Way to much lemon. The mashed potatoes were real and kinda lumpy-just like I like them, however they were cold. They were out of the chicken salad which was on the limited menu in three spots and a few of us were disappointed. I will return some day when they aren't as busy. They have a nice selection of hot tea and the desserts looked delicious so I'm hoping to get a chance to try one or two.
We decided to eat at the Crossroads Cookery while at the Sapulpa Christmas chute. We arrived early, about 11:30. We were seated promptly and given menus and water. Downhill after that. One would think that during an event they would be staffed properly. Lots of staff running around, but one lone server (young man). Very limited menus. My husband and I ordered the Chicken salad sandwich. His side was mac n' cheese and mine was tomato bisque. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time. But it sure was a disappointment when it did. It was not what the menu described. I have about two tablespoons of chicken salad on a croissant, two bites of tomato. No cheese as described. My tomato bisque was tepid and bland. My husbands mac n' cheese was not cooked properly, the macaroni was still hard. Server never came to ask if everything is alright, he was running and taking orders from the other tables. Poor guy. But as I said, lots of other people congregating at a table near the bar. My husband could not finish his side nor could I. Overall, the place is beautiful and very clean, however the food and the service falls very short. We will not be back. And, from some of the expressions of other diners, they experienced the same.
Beautiful restaurant, delicious food and excellent service! Best chicken fried steak (and HUGE!) and ice cream. Ask for Preston, the best server of our trip. Just sorry we don’t live closer!
Wow just wow. Thought it was a basic coffee shop from the outside but step inside and be wowed. The decor is superb, the staff really friendly. They make their own coffee and the biggest surprise was only $4 for an americano. Chatting to the manager you can tell working here is a labour of love. Apparently the owner also owns theDrive in cinema. Apparently the Main Street of Salpuca is closed for various events throughout the year. If you are in Salpuca make sure you stop for a coffee, an ice cream , a beer or cocktail or a full meal. Whatever you do make sure you visit.
