Abuelita's is a great choice for lunch. They have a large list of lunch specials, the food is delicious, the plating is clean, and the service was excellent. Definitely recommend.
The food was great. The service was good until they sat an entire girls softball team next to us. That's when the service and atmosphere declined. It was so good tho! Damn, I regretted recommending the in-laws eat there, it was that good. They don't deserve food that good.
I want to express my extreme gratitude to Ms Dolores, and her kitchen staff for a great act of kindness extended on Monday. I contacted the restaurant by Facebook on Easter Sunday to ask if would be possible to take some salsa and chips to take to a life-long friend who is in the hospital in Duncan, Okla. He grew up and lived many years in Meeker, and was a devoted customer of Abuelita Rosa, and loves their salsa. The staff agreed to prepare a special order that I picked up Monday...
