We ordered the catfish, chicken fingers, and chopped steak.Catfish was very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. Probably the best catfish I have had in the area. There was a generous serving size. I got the baked potato and green beans. The potato came with all the fixings and the green beans were under seasoned.Chicken fingers were good. Generous portion. Side salad was very fresh. The blue cheese dressing was more suited to pairing with steak than salad, so I would recommend the ranch for the salad and a side of blue cheese dressing if you order steak. The French fries were not cooked well, kind of limp home style fries. The rolls were good. Definitely use the garlic butter with the rolls.Decent service and good meal, our family will be back.Kid-friendliness: They have a children’s menu and it has a picture to color. Two crayons provided. Reasonable kids options. Good portion size.

I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience. The culinary offerings are of exceptional quality, and the service provided by the staff is commendable. I will undoubtedly return to this establishment in the future.

This used to be the best place in this county to get a steak. The steak was charred too much on the exterior. I ordered it to be cooked medium, and it was pretty close to that. The roasted vegetables were more like stew. It left me wanting. I had add on shrimp which was the most satisfying of the meal.

First off I'm a pit master and chef. I tried this place out because of what everyone keeps saying about the steaks. I make steaks my own 99% of the time but occasionally why not go out once and try a place. This was such a disappointment. The ribeye had like a "lighter fluid" taste. And if anyone has had bad grilled/bbq food with someone using a ton of lighter fluid know what I'm talking about. It may not actually be lighter fluid it could just be whatever marinade they was using. It just had a lighter fluid taste. And get a baked potato which they just bring it out wrapped in aluminum foil for you to burn your hands unwrapping it and getting your hands nasty and putting all the "fixins" on it your self. Really feel they should bring it to you out of the foil already and already prepared. The service is fine, but the steaks aren't that great. I can't speak on anything else there though. There is only two decent places in shawnee to get a steak. That's at Paul's Place and Branding Iron.

It is a country bar feel, without the bar. The steak was ok. The burger was ok. Both lacked flavor. Maybe it was an off day.

We just found our new go-to restaurant when we are passing through Shawnee! The sirloin was perfectly cooked and the spicy coleslaw was to die for.

Neither bad nor good... It's a steakhouse so it's somewhat expensive, so naturally I expected pretty good food, but I don't feel like their food warranted their price. My steak was very bland. Baked potatoe wasn't anything to brag about. Just a normal baked potatoe. My wife's chicken breast were very dry and flavorless as well. Chef salad was a chef salad. Lettuce was a tiny bit wilted, but not terrible. Edible but bviously not that fresh. All in all, I'm glad I went because of just wanting to try it out, but I will not be returning or suggesting it for a nice meal out for others.

The best ribeye I’ve eaten in a decade. This is where I go to eat a steak now. Unbelievably tender.

Second time here and the food is wonderful. Small place, hole in the wall type. Well worth the trip to shawnee for it.

Warning, they upcharge you 3.9% over menu price for paying with a card. Glad they had the sign on their door so we knew to leave and take our business elsewhere. Credit cards are part of doing business and that cost should be built into your menu pricing.
