They have turned into a price gouging company… you can’t even get dang sides with your food anymore! And… they raise the stinkin price on the food way up 10 bucks for a burger that’s skimped on the insides n no side
Got it to go, half price Mondays
I like the variety of good food, their on time and affordable prices are the business.
Great food as always with the Boomerang chain. Love this location because of the layout of the building.
Atmosphere, photos, service all good
Been doing a call in order every Monday for the last couple years. Sometimes the food is good some times it's over cooked and not edible. The service is also a hit or miss. When ordering drinks (sweet tea) instead of being told they are almost out I got 2 half filled cups one tea was super dark one was very light when asked was told sorry that's what we have with no option to change the drink. The girls are not so friendly and litteraly with talk down about you right in front of you. And argue when you asked for things to be a certain way for you order. However this week been calling since Mondayits now Thursday and they no longer answer the phones I have waited multiple times longer than 20 minutes each time.
I went in on a Monday was supposed to be half price burger day and paid $13 for a regular burger basket with cheese and they didn't even give me cheese. I waited awhile before I was helped they weren't busy with customers just rolling silverware.
Trish in downtown all ways takes wayyy too long to get food, or refills, and didn’t ask me about my points the last 2 times then blamed me, but otherwise the food is good and atmosphere is fun!! Great place for family gatherings (just not day-time downtown Shawnee).
I don't usually give a 5 star but I had the most amazing experience today
The restaurant had NO HEAT so we almost left and in hindsight, wish we would have. For some reason, it took forever to get waited on and awhile to get our food. I’ve noticed the past two times at both Shawnee Boomerangs, they don’t come back to check on you or refill your drinks.

Don't waste your time at this certain one. They seat you & give you drinks to never to return, but yet can seat 4 other people, serve them! Only!
Great customer service! Delicious food! Very attentive waitress👍👍
Ordered through DoorDash for a chicken friend steak it was so burnt it was inedible! I always love this location but who ever was cooking this day did not care.
Absolutely Disgusting Food and Even Worse Service
I recently visited the Boomerang Diner on Broadway in Shawnee, OK, and it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. I ordered a simple to-go meal of a ham and cheese omelet, hash browns, toast, and coffee. The total came to $17.02, and I added a $3.40 tip.
I was halfway through my meal when I discovered that half of the omelet was completely raw! As someone who was just recovering from a stomach bug, this immediately made me queasy, and I ended up throwing up. I returned to the diner with the contaminated food and was greeted by a server who offered to make me a new omelet. I explained that I was concerned about food contamination and simply wanted a refund.
The server showed the raw omelet to the manager, and I could hear the manager acknowledging that it was indeed undercooked. However, when the server returned, he insisted that they would only make me a new one. I objected and demanded a refund, but the manager refused because I had already eaten half of the meal.
I was shocked and appalled by this response. I reiterated my concerns about food poisoning and even asked other customers if they had experienced similar issues with their food. The manager then threatened to call the police on me for "stating facts and asking questions"!
I left the diner feeling disgusted and disrespected. I was wearing torn and tattered shoes and work clothes as I was on a construction job, and as a Native American, I couldn't help but feel that my appearance and race played a significant role in the way I was treated. The manager's refusal to issue a refund for a clearly contaminated meal was unacceptable, and his threat to call the police was completely uncalled for.
I would strongly advise anyone considering eating at this establishment to think twice. The food is poorly prepared, the service is terrible, and the management is downright hostile and potentially discriminatory. I will be disputing the charge with my bank and will never return to this diner again.
