I have been going to this restaurant for years with my mom when she was alive and my aunt, the food is great, but every time I take my Service Dog, a Great Dane in, the owner tells me that everyone with a Service Dog must sit where the other customers cannot see the dog, because people don't like seeing a dog in the restaurant and people leave because of the dogs being in the restaurant, as my friend and I were leaving today, I received nothing but compliments from everyone that was sitting around or near us, on how well behaved my dog was, but I was told that when I come back, that I must sit off in the area where they would hold like meetings or large groups of people, I explained once again, very nicely that he could not legally do that, but he told me he has to do that to satisfy his other customers. SO I WILL SAY THAT CHINA BUFFET IN SHAWNEE ON HARRISON IS NOT REALLY SERVICE DOG FRIENDLY, even though it says service dogs only, they will allow them, but you are NOT allowed to sit wherever you want with a service dog

Very large selection of cold food nothing was hot. Sushi may have been good but I don't do sushi. We have been to a lot of Chinese restaurants. So this was the worst we've been to. Was looking forward to Chinese food today but was very disappointed. I usually rate folks good but these people didn't even try....

The atmosphere/setting might appear old, worn-out and almost dingy but the food choices will make you come back.
Im amazed each time we go back. Id give it 10 stars if it was clean crisp new appearance.

Building is really run down. The bathroom is worse and it smelled like sewer. The buffet all the food just looked awful. I ended up just getting 2 pieces of each sweet and sour chicken, sesame chicken I got fried rice and egg roll. None of it tasted good and it all smelled worse than it looked. The employees was not friendly. The food was cold and it around noon on a Saturday. I usually go to maple garden but figured we would try this. I will not go back. Also it was cold and they didn't have the heat on it was 22 degrees outside. Apple cobbler was apple and peaches, banana pudding was old. Literally the list goes on. Everything I tried to eat was awful. I don't eat fish or seafood so I can't tell you about that. I literally only ate 2 bites of everything I got due to the taste and smell of it. Everything had a freezer burt taste it was all over cooked. Normally at a buffet the deserts can save it but not here. Cakes were stale the pudding tasted old we tried a little of everything and just not good. For $65 for 4 people just go to Panda Express...

This is my fave buffet. I always enjoy the staff and food.
The sushi is decent when fresh. The best dishes are going to be their hot foods, however. Coconut shrimp and crayfish, yummy! Good seafood options. 😋
