We had a delicious lunch at Old School Bagel in Shawnee! Our sandwiches were fresh, and the iced coffee was exquisite! The atmosphere was welcoming, spacious and clean. The staff were very friendly! Definitely recommend eating here!

You have never seen a better bagel shop run any better EVER. Like I don’t even eat bagels that much, but now I sadly have an unhealthy addiction to bagels. There is no doubt in my mind that once I enter the door of Old School Bagel Shawnee, the service, atmosphere, and mostly the BAGELS are unparalleled within the borders of this country. I have seen with own eyes the heavenly bagels of life that come out of that oven in the back and it never ceases to amaze me.

We just left a few minutes ago my husband had the advacado sunrise on an everything bagel his words were it was delicious. I had the asiago bagel toasted with the bacon and chive cream cheese. I have only 2 words for delicious and decadent in a savory way. The staff working were nice and helpful being our first time. We will for sure be back i have the jalepeno cheddar bagle to eat with the bacon and chive cream cheese.
I'd like to say a huge thank you to Kaden at Old School Bagel for the bagel trays, cookie tray, and cinnamon rolls. This was a great service for the kids in Mrs. Tiger's 4th-grade class at Jefferson Elementary. He packed plates, toothpicks for the bite-sized pieces of bagels, and forks for the cinnamon rolls. You are an AMAZING PERSON. I WISH THERE WERE MORE PEOPLE LIKE YOU, KADEN!

We stopped in for bagels on a recent RV trip. The staff was warm and welcoming. The bagels? I all honesty --- the best I habe ever had. Plump, perfectly baked...and hardly fit in our Bagel Slicer they are so big. I am very sad not to live nearby...cause they would be my go to shop for fresh and delicious bagels. Next time we head in that direction...we will make sure to stop in and load up on perfect bagels.

So happy my family’s favorite bagel shop is back open again, and honestly, it seems to be consistently better than ever! I had never seen the restaurant and staff this clean and welcoming before, it’s like a totally new place but with the same amazing bagels and cream cheeses still too. Even the new decor and music felt fresh, intentional, and clean. I think all of their employees are new in addition to the new management too, but you wouldn’t be able to tell with how smooth things seem to run already and that they all seem to actually enjoy working there! Huge fan of the bright, relaxed, and cozy vibe they have going on.
You can’t go wrong with the turkey avocado bagel sandwich, but a classic toasted everything bagel with plain cream cheese from here is just too good to beat. AND their snickerdoodle cookies and cinnamon rolls to grab for later (or for a sweet treat breakfast, you will definitely want these cinnamon rolls or muffins warmed up to have with your coffee lol)- seriously the best! Hoping they bring back the pumpkin spice cinnamon rolls again soon this fall, SO GOOD!
We are so lucky to have a local business in our community employed by motivated young adults like this, and I encourage everyone to go give it another try and support local!
