When you want some REALLY GOOD Asian food at a fair price in Shawnee, OK. go here ! Years and years ago (I'm old) the building was a Hardee's. My favorite thing at Phoenix is the pork pad thai. My wife always gets the sesame chicken. The egg rolls and dumplings are fantastic as well.

We loved phoenix. We haven’t had their food for a few months now. We ordered and picked up. First problem was got wrong order on one. The spring rolls were mushy and gross couldn’t eat. The food was really not good. We have always enjoyed it before and don’t think we’ll go back not sure what happened, but it had a really funky old taste.

While the food itself has maintained a good quality over the years, it is obvious that the atmosphere and service of the location has taken a hit. I don't believe it is unbearable or a bad experience, but it definitely leaves much to be desired. I'd recommend ordering take out if possible so you can get the good quality dishes while avoiding a subpar service and atmosphere.

The service was really good the food was really good
One of the best sesame chicken I have had and crab Rangoon’s. The sushi was not a fan of. Ordered the California rolls and they had strong seafood taste( raw fish taste). The California roll is crab meat not raw fish.

I've been to all of the Chinese restaurants in Shawnee & Phoenix Asian Diner is by far the best for Chinese food in Shawnee. My sister & I like to visit during the lunch time when they have their Daily Lunch Specials everyday from 11-3 during the week.
You have a variety of meals to choose from & the meal includes an egg roll, crab rangoon, steamed or fried rice (I recommend the fried rice) & choice of soup (we like the egg drop soup). My sister always gets the pepper steak which she says is Really Good. I've had the Sesame Chicken & the Sweet & Sour Chicken. The meal also comes with a fortune cookie. The food we have eaten here is always hot & fresh. I know they also have Sushi but I don't eat sushi. They also have a variety of Kids Meals available.
We have been coming to this location to eat for years & always look forward to eating here when we are in Shawnee.
