Tapatio Mexican Restaurant

Went from bad to worse. Started by waiting by the door with 8 other people crowding in as the employees sat a table just watching. We ordered our food and then waited. And waited. And waited. The chips we were given while waiting were old and stale. It took over 30 minutes to get our food. We watched as others around us received theirs. Our server never stopped to refill our drinks or give us an update. I finally flagged someone down and asked how much longer it would be. Within a few minutes we received our food. All 4 meals were cold. 2 of us had ordered the Steven's Special which is supposed to be chicken, cheese, and rice. What we received was cold chicken thrown on top of a bed of cold dry rice. The tacos ordered had no flavor and were cold. We will not be returning. We had to ask multiple people for the check just so we could get out of there. Poor service. Poor food.

Food was horrendous, but the server was so sweet and tried to help make it better. Salsa was old and nasty, chicken was bland and thin.

Racial discrimination!!
So came for my birthday dinner the services sucked. The server took our drink order and then went n took another drink order from another table served them drinks took their order, then a server came up asked if someone got our drink order n we told him yeah someone already took it so he went n asked another server, the server didn’t want to wait on us bc of our race or something, but race is the only reason I can find, and then said that he was too busy(which he wasn’t, it was super slow) so another server came took and took our order, n then had to take another drink order, n then had to come back take our drink order again, and was still shitty about it. So paid for the drinks and left. They completely ruined my birthday dinner.

I WILL NEVER EAT HERE AGAIN. BURNT FOOD. THEN WENT BACK MONTHS LATER... TODAY ORDERED CHILI RELLENOS. THEY USED TO BE MY FAVORITE. NOT ONLY DID THEY SHRI K, HARDLY ANY SAUCE AND WAY TOO HOT. IM DONE WITH THIS PLACE. THEY USED TO TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR FOOD. HAD BAD FOOD 3× IN A ROW. IT USED TO BE MY GO TO.PLACE. NO MORE.TERRIBLE FOOD. I FOUND A TACO SHOP IN OKC THAT ISXWAY BETTER. TACOS SAN PEDRO. REAL MEXICAN FOOD. I WILL GO HERE FRO. NOW ON.

So the first time I went here to eat it was so very good! The second time it was just ok, the service is always fantastic and the people are really nice, but the food was a little on the dry side and the chicken for my little one was a little over done. Will eat here again tho just because it was so good the first time around!

We stopped here in our way to Houston, food was very good we tried steak Ranchero like the way it was cooked, as well the chicken enchiladas and the tacos. I highly recommend this location ? the staff very friendly and helpful

The best nachos I've had in the metro. I've never had better, even in OKC and Norman! The service wasn't great - our waiter was kind of pushy and treated us like a burden - but the food and drinks along with the low price made it worth tolerating the poor service. They could blatantly insult me to my face and I'd still come back for the awesome food

Would give zero stars if could. My husband and I ate lunch here last Sunday and we both got food poisoning!! We were sat and waited 20 minutes before anyone served us.
