I was in Shawnee last week. As a vegan, I had planned to eat at The Owl Shoppe for a black bean burger. It was not available on Saturday and I was so disappointed. The chef overheard and said she would make one for me. It was truly the best I've ever had. It was smothered with sweet potato mash, red onions, chimichuri, and other delectable vegetables.
