We stopped in on our way through town. They have been flipping burgers since 1966. They make good burgers and great onion rings. We enjoyed our visit. They have some things that you don't see every where any more, like a butterscotch shake. Worth a visit if you're in town.

I am gonna write my experience here off tonight as the staff being stressed. The food is great here! The quality of the treats is equally excellent. The service today though sincerely had me checking my order. The young lady at the window was seemingly stressed out and somewhat confrontational. I was reprimanded immediately for ordering a size that was listed on the menu but apparently not available and there was no greeting or gratitude shown for the order. Even when I thanked them twice for the food I was given eye contact with a blank stare and silence. This is the only restaurant in Skiatook I have had this experience at and even the 8 year old that was with me stated that they thought the young lady was rude. My guest that was with me even replayed the encounter off my interior dash cam as I thought maybe I had done something that could’ve been mistaken as rudeness, but we found nothing in the video replay that could have been. I have the feeling they were probably short handed and stressed but today’s experience left me feeling that the staff hated me for going there.

If you want a good old-fashioned burger and fries, this is the place to go in Skiatook, Ok... Made to order double cheeseburger is my fav... Darned good shakes, too.

It’s not terrible, but not great either. The biggest issue is that the service here is always extremely slow. It doesn’t matter what you order or how busy they are, it always seems to take at least 20-30 minutes after you place your order to get your food. That is of course if you can get someone to take your order in the first place. No idea how many times I’ve walked in, been ignored at the counter for 5-10 minutes, and then left. However, l do know that I’ve definitely walked out more often than I’ve placed an order. I really wish something like a Braum’s would open up in Skiatook. Until then, I’ll continue to drive to Owasso if I want ice cream. .

I had the jumbo chili cheese burger no relish add pickle with side of fried pickles and a deluxe burrito. Everything tasted great! Hot fresh and fast. The deluxe burrito was so good that it took me back to my childhood! The burger tasted fresh super juicy. Yummy! The fried pickles were seasoned perfectly. The homemade ranch was yummy as well.

For the second time in a row i went in and ordered a jumbo double, sanwich only not the combo and waited 45 minutes. They had lost track of my order. They refunded my money and i walked out. Both times were a 45 minute wait. They wasted an hour and a half of my time. NOT GOING BACK!
