Folks, this is the BBQ you drive an hour for. Seriously, the ribs are absolutely phenomenal. There's nothing fancy going on here, just amazing comfort food and friendly owners. And the pricing is just as it should be. HeavenLee is the real deal.

My husband and I decided to pop into this little restaurant about 6 months ago and now it's been a common place for us. We LOVE the smoked meatloaf and the friendly staff, they make us feel like family. Even our picky kids love the food. Now when we cater events, HeavenLee is our first go to.

Disgusting, I expected flavor there was more flavor in the bbq from my house. Waste of time. The pulled pork was absolute 💯 disgusting
The sweet tea was insanely sweet...like injection pure sugar into your veins sweet. Otherwise the food was decent

I had the chopped brisket sandwich cabbage and peach cobbler....eh the brisket had potential if they trimmed the fat, the cabbage was over cooked and the peach cobbler was made with bread instead of pie crust definitely wasn't a fan of it.

OMFG cannot even describe the savory, mouth watering, flavors of everything we were able to sample. The smoked turkey, so tender, the ribs, no sauce required, the melt in your mouth meatloaf and brisket, herb infused mac n cheese, the sweet and zesty coleslaw and then the fruity iced tea was like drinking your dessert! This place is a MUST

Coming from South Oklahoma City it wasn't too far from the restaurant. The restaurant is off ne 23rd st in OKC just entering Nicoma Park jurisdiction. Good food, and nice owners. Skip Swadleys, Rib crib, and Billy Sims and give Heavenlees Barbecue a chance. Also try the Sweet tea with pineapple. I tried the ribs, fries with Mac n cheese, baked beans, and the cornbread and I'm very impressed and pleased with the meal.

I'm upset that I have never stopped by this restaurant before.
I don't know where to start.
The service was great the two people I interacted with were so kind and genuine.
The food was awesome. Great flavor, good portions, and left me wanting more even though I was too full!
I will be back now that I know what I was missing.

Loved their food! The service was great. The portions were good sized. So much couldn't finish it all.
My guy loves greens and overheard they made some. He was excited to try it. His words are "the best greens" he's had since his grandmother.
We're so glad we stopped in to try this place out. Loved it!

I have eaten here once when it was at a different location and the food was amazing then.
A young lady took my order. I got the 3 ribs and asked her if I they have any big fatty ones like in their menu pictures/online reviews because that's what I'm after. She said yes so I got excited. She recommended the mac and cheese so I ordered that as well. I told her I wanted to try their smoked peach cobbler with ice cream at the end of my meal and asked if it was heated to which she said yes and that she would put it in after I was almost done eating.
The food came out super fast, about 3 minutes. She sat it down and quickly left. I stared at it then looked at the menu again because the 3 ribs on my plate were the smallest ribs I have ever been served with each rib being about 3 inches long; It looked very much like a child's plate but I didn't order from the kid's menu.
Since she left so fast and didn't look like she was coming back out any time soon, I went up and asked if all of their ribs are that tiny. The older woman (the owner maybe?) came out and told me the rack sizes vary so much that when they serve small ones like that, they will usually give more than 3. To make it right she will bring more out. I appreciated that gesture. She brought 3 normal sized ribs out and let me keep the little ones.
I had hoped I wasn't inconveniencing them too much more but I asked for pickles and onions and later a refill of my tea. I never saw the younger girl at my table again until she dropped my ticket off and she left quickly again. She didn't ask if I was ready for the cobbler I told her I wanted and the ticket felt final, so I grabbed a small to-go box, stacked my plates and clutter and went up to pay.
The young girl was up there and I mentioned the peach cobbler but I said I didn't need it. I think she misunderstood me and asked if I still wanted ice cream. I tried to tell her no I don't want it any more; I'm already finished and ready to go. The exchange of words here made me feel like I frustrated her for even mentioning the cobbler because she tried to ring me up for it several times. The older woman told me they had plenty they could send me with but I was heading to an event and couldn't take it.
All this to say I appreciate them trying to make up for the small ribs. They weren't bad. If you told me they were baked, I'd believe you.
I haven't been to a southern BBQ place that didn't serve or offer pickles and onions but thank you for obliging, even if they were sweet. Thank you for the 1 refill upon request.
I was a server for 7 years, it goes a long way asking if there is anything else you need before you drop their ticket off, goes even further if you suggest dessert, let alone get them the dessert they already ordered.
Mac and cheese was tasty!

I had the rib tips. They tasted baked or boiled. Not good at all. I drove all the way from Edmond just to be disappointed. Sorry but I will not be returning.
