Smiling friendly faces, some great bbq, catfish, chicken, ribs, pulled pork, great sides. Several generations have been doing it that way for years. Everything we tried was amazing.
My husband and I stopped in for lunch based on Google Maps ratings when we were in town. We both liked the menu offerings, so I had the sliced brisket lunch plate and he had the chopped brisket sandwich. There was only one other diner when we came in, so our orders were taken pretty quickly. Took a bit longer than 15 minutes before our food came out, and after that, the waitress never came back to check on us....for anything. There was no smoke ring present on the sliced brisket,...
First time visit! Everything was delicious, hot and fresh! I especially enjoyed the brown beans, best I ever had!The waitress was superb. She never slowed down. She handled the whole dining room, took phone orders AND the drive thru all by herself.. . She knew the locals by name and their orders. Owners need to give her RAISE and don't ever take her for granted!
