Charlie's Chicken Tahlequah

I have been a Charlie's Chicken customer my whole life and have been to almost every location they have in Oklahoma. Although, I was very disappointed after my recent visit to the Tahlequah restaurant. I ordered my typical entree and was surprised at how expensive it was. To be fair, many food items have increased in price due to economic inflation. What upset me was when I received a tiny little box of chicken after I had ordered a "dinner" size. I had paid $13.50 for what would be considered a "snack" of chicken. I asked the cashier and manager if there had been a mistake, because as a former customer, I know the size of the meal that I normally order. They acted as though they didn't know what I was talking about and offered nothing to resolve the issue. This occurred while I was standing in an empty restaurant at dinner time, so they are not currently a thriving business. I will not be returning to this location and I encourage other to do the same unless they want to suffer the same fate.

Needs new management. Food has lost all freshness and quality. I eat here at least once a week and spend quality money for 5 out of 10 food. Dry is the word that comes to mind

Atmosphere gets a 1☆, which is kinda unfair, but the roads have construction and pylons everywhere.

Very nice friendly staff. Very clean place to eat an fast service. Only thing I didn't like was the chopped up cucumber salad.

YUMMMOOO love Charlie's! Have to go to Oklahoma to get it because Arkansas doesn't have one! Worth the trip EVERY time!

Headed in to town around dinner time and looked up this Chicken place. The menu looked good so why not. In short, the full rotten garbage can in the drive thru has got to go. Not a good first impression. However, when we finally were able to sit down and eat, we were not disappointed. We had the rotisserie family meal. The chicken was good, the sides were great, and the baked beans were delicious. We will be back, for sure.

I was blazed out. Higher than giraffe throat. And the idea to go to Charlie’s hit me. You can not lose if you eat at Charlie’s.

they are tell me that this place don't sell already cooked chicken for a sandwich I have to wait 25 minutes in the drive thru.

Surprised dad and mom with a trip to Tahlequah today for fried chicken livers. I called the Chicken Express there before we left, because it's an hour's drive to get there, and they assured me that they had plenty of livers. I made sure they knew we were driving an HOUR to get there, and they said yes, come! So, off we went. Only to find out, after placing our order, that the livers they had on hand were 'bad' and it would be three hours before they had a batch ready. Thankfully, I found Charlie's Chicken online, just down the road, and we had the BEST fried livers around! They will get our business from now on, for sure. Super-friendly staff and hot, fresh food...they saved the day!
