I have visited multiple locations of this chain and honestly, have been Disappointed Everytime.the staff is untrained, uncaring, and the Management is even worse.at the Tahlequah location and the Muskogee location(York and Chandler) I have seen shady exchanges of white rock like substances, between managers, staff and clients.Definitely keep your head on a swivel, and pay attention to the health standards of the person making your food.

Do not get food from this place, my fiance found a hair in his food, and went to go get a refund and was told he needed to bring the food back but he also showed them a picture of his food that clearly had hair in it. My chicken tenders were also pink on the inside. Horrible food .

Just an FYI the number 2 comes with a biscuit or roll, I asked fir a biscuit and did not receive 1. This has happened the last 3 times I have went through drive thru. People that work there need to learn to do a better

Review for Chicken Express Fried Chicken:After a long morning of work without breakfast, I found myself in need of some comforting and delicious food. Not being in my own town, I decided to give Chicken Express a try for some much-needed fried chicken. And let me tell you, it was a decision I did not regret. The fried chicken from Chicken Express was truly outstanding, rivaling some of the best I've had, and that's saying something considering I've experienced authentic Louisiana fried chicken. The crunch of the coating, the juiciness of the meat, and the perfect blend of seasonings made for a truly memorable experience. With each bite, I could taste the care and expertise that went into preparing this fried chicken. It hit all the right notes - crispy on the outside, tender and flavorful on the inside. It was clear that Chicken Express takes pride in their food and knows how to deliver a top-notch fried chicken that satisfies even the toughest food critics.Overall, my experience at Chicken Express left me thoroughly impressed and satisfied. If you're looking for some exceptional fried chicken that can rival even the best out there, look no further than Chicken Express. I will definitely be returning for more of their delicious offerings.

Since the new owners have taken over the prices have went sky high. Unfortunately my family will no longer be able to afford to eat at tahlequah chicken express. $75 for a family chicken meal is kinda high. When it used to be $50.

Hey, I’m never going to knock a good chicken place. Granted because of the abundance of chicken restaurants in Arkansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma… I’m also expecting a five star rating only for those that go above and beyond. Four stars is on my book a super decent reading and chicken express certainly rests as one of those places that satisfies both my craving and my sense of wonder. Who can stop from wondering what chicken taste like in a place where these logo mascot is a dead chicken carcass being flung across the matte red backdrop!!! Upon entering, there are a lot of options that I would normally see with your different tenders and strips and fillets, but hold your horses… They have an entire menu, selection for gizzards and livers!!I consider Arkansas and Oklahoma, still part of the south in general, and I used to live in Florida, which oddly is NOT considered the south, but the type of food you encounter down there is TrueSouth and I miss those old Florida gas stations in restaurants that serve gizzards. That’s what I had here, and I can say my gizzard tooth was satisfied, but not completely satiated. The breading was light and flash cooked and not seasoned hardly at all, but I still give them points for putting such a crowd-dividing item on the menu so proudly. I do not live in Tahlequah but I visit often and this place has kept me coming back because of its unique menu, item selection, and its great location by the bypass.

Fish wasn't hot. Chicken overcooked. So, the food is aC-minus. The servers do a very good job. Polite, pleasant. Easy in and out. Fast service.

Must have gone down hill. Every time I order they miss putting in items. Either they need to start sealing their bags or doordash needs to start firing dashers. Both claim it's never their problem. Always out of pocket.
