Morgan's bakery has been around for as long as I can remember. As a kid my dad would get me up and out of bed just by mentioning we'd go if I hurried. It's a staple in tahlequah and I'm not sure what we'd do without our favorite bakery.

I cannot explain how wonderful Morgan’s bakery is. I love the cream Horn love the tiger cookies. I’m telling you it is a wonderful place and there’s so much history behind Morgan’s bakery and also I think that is a place that has passed down from generation to generation, which is which is awesome to see in a town. We used to order cakes from Morgan’s bakery. They have awesome cookies and tiger cookies is awesome because that was our mascot when we were in school and I’m pretty sure it still is if you ever come Tahlequah, you definitely need to stop at Morgan’s bakery and get one of their wonderful 4 o’clock houra doughnut or a tiger cookie. My favorite is the cream Horn. It’s so flaky and it’s just outrageously wonderful.

This bakery has the BEST cream horns in the world!!! The filling is like a light wedding cake icing. And the entire cream horn is fresh and flaky. They melt in your mouth!! They also have the best 4 O’clock cookies and fudge fancies I’ve ever tasted!! ❣️

Donuts were not light and fluffy!

Morgan's Bakery should be declared a local landmark. They are known for their tiger and iced cookies. Many people love these almost-sugar-kind-of-shortbread cookies and there are those of us that do not. Because the price per cookie is steep, my suggestion is to taste one before buying multiples. Morgan's cakes are good. Most people like their donuts and breakfast treats.
My absolute favorite item at Morgan's is their cream horns. Perfection! I make trips to town (I'm 20-25 minutes rural) for cream horns and add other errands to ease my guilt. The cream horns are so flaky, it's near impossible to eat one and not wear a bit of it --- and worth every napkin to dust off. I think their eclairs are also delicious but very rich -- my second favorite item. I love to serve both cream horns and eclairs for small group meetings and dinner parties of 6-8 guests. I often halve the cream horns and eclairs so my guests can choose both -- and most do. Both the cream horns and eclairs are $3-4 each.
Through the 40 years I've lived in the Tahlequah area, I've had very good counter service and most usually from the younger staff. Depending on where you are in line (yes, there is occasionally a line of 2-3 people), you might have a wait of ten minutes because it's not easy to make choices if you are a newbie. The staff is patient and I've never felt rushed.
I hope you stop at Morgan's and find something that makes you want to go back again. It is certainly worth the visit.

Great pastry as always ...

Somebody needs to teach the young women who were staffing this place how to use the coffee maker. I paid cash for pastry and coffee. The dispenser was empty. I sat there for 10 minutes only to find out they hadn't started it and it would take a long time. So I asked for a refund and they couldn't do that, either. I have to wait until tomorrow, and maybe the manager will call me.

Been going to Morgan's for 10+ years, and they never disappoint. Best bakery in the state by a long shot.

I ordered er a custom Birthday Cake. Sent pictures and explicit instructions.. The cake I received was a disaster. The cake looked nothing like the picture, the frosting slid off the cake, the top layer wasn’t secure and fell off. The colors were wrong the decorations were not crisp and neat. This cake was for a very special occasion. It was my gift to the recipient. I spent $127.00 !!!! I couldn’t even get the top layer back on the first layer. I was mad and disappointed.
I suggest they learn to work with Fondant.
On a good note. The cake was absolutely delicious! Every bite was eaten.
