When Me and my band played at Ned’s we had arrived a little early but was supposed to have sound check at 4:30 which I had told the owner/manager a week or 2 before but the owner/manager wasn’t answering her phone and nobody showed up til after the doors
Opened at 7:15. My merch girl was also keeping track of the door and informed me that not everybody was being counted from the beginning and that person working the door that started the night wasn’t paying attention because she was mingling with friends or something. The owner/manager also treated somebody on my team with a lot of disrespect by shutting a gate and made them walk all the way back to the front even though they were part of my band and she very well knew that. Little did she know that my manager and his wife were actually the last people she let through the gate before she shut the gate in my guys face and treated him with a lot of disrespect. Also the merch table was by the front door by the stage and on of my female staff members noticed that her drink smelt funny and looked funny, she informed my security and he noticed that somebody had drugged her drink. Basically guy working the door clearly wasn’t paying attention. Very unprofessional and disrespectful! Won’t be going back to Ned’s in the future. I hope it was just a bad night for them and hope they treat their future bands a lot better than they treated us.

I don’t typically go out to bars but i took my out of town friends to Neds for karaoke night and had a blast. No one was signing up, so the owner took the stage with a popular old song to rile up the crowd and we were all participating and having a blast in no time.

Wonderful atmosphere and the drinks were great, I originally came to hide out because two people had targeted me while I was at the park but I had a really great time last night at this bar. I will definitely be coming back just for the vibe alone.
