Stopped by for a late lunch. We had the shrimp and jalapeno hush puppy lunch, chicken and sausage jambalaya and pecan bread pudding. All of the flavors had a great balance of spice. Bread pudding was the best we have had outside of New Orleans.
Mrs Ursula and Mr Aaron are amazing people and seeing them always makes me smile; they bring a warm and welcoming atmosphere everytime they're open; and during a huge rush they ask me to wait a short while and I did; in which they were sweet enough to give me a drink on them; easily best spot to eat while you're in talihina!Kid-friendliness: Lots of open space, enough for atleast 3 families

WOW! Great food for the price! And I mean "GREAT FOOD!" The staff was friendly and eager to help, the food court was a welcomed relief from our traveling behinds and even though it rained we were comfortable under the Umbrella. Did I mention the food was great? Anyway, an awesome little corner in an awesome little town provided a perfect environment for our visit! I'm from rosepine/derrider area in Louisiana and this place is amazing. They have delicious food. I ordered the Boudin balls and they are amazing . Tastes just like home. 5 stars ?

WOW!! This is absolutely hands down the best place to eat here. The gumbo, which is 100% homemade and tastes like Louisiana's best is divine. We definitely recommend the pecan praline or white chocolate bread pudding also. Looking forward to our next fishing tournament so we can stop in for excellent Cajun cuisine! Owners were so friendly and social. It was great visiting with them.
