The ROCK House

We stopped by Rock House, after a hiking trip in one of the trails. These amazing people treated us to an A+ rated meal which added tremendous value to our bucks. The service and professionalism were excellent. The manager visited our table to ensure that we comfortable with the delivery, providing the opportunity for a return experience. The whole five of us were thrilled at their service. I ordered the Salmon Du Jour with broccoli and mashed potatoes. If you're reading this, you need to try it out. The bread would make you ask for more.A trial will convince you beyond merely reading this review. No kidding.

The food took quite a while to arrive our reservation was at 5 we were 30 minutes early but still did not eat till 630 ..the people were super friendly ..the server almost over accommodating but the portions were a little small versus the price ..were they nice ..yes....was the food good ...also yes so I would say 7 out of 10 for me others may have a different experience

We all enjoyed our food and everything was yummy. The manager is fun and welcoming .

The Rock House Restaurant rocks! Managers Greg and Gina are attentive to details and very personable. The food was great - I had the grilled pork chops with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans and my wife had a Greek salad with grilled chicken. For dessert, we shared the creme brulee which was fabulous and not to be missed! This is gourmet cuisine in a relaxed, cozy atmosphere. The restaurant is outside of town on a high pasture with stunning views of the surrounding mountains and forests. If you get a chance to eat here, don't pass it by!

When seated, we looked at menus. We did not know we could order tea, because our waitress never informed us, so we had water. The floor where I was seated shook everytime someone walked by. My asparagus was tough. The lamb chop I had was very good, I thought it was the high light of the meal. But felt for $64 that the other things took away from the dining experience. We even had to ask for our rolls, that were gaurunteed by the menu options we ordered. Couldn't really see a good view, we was at the back of the room.I know they offer tea, because the table next to ours ordered it, because their waiter made sure they knew.Overall I give it a single star because of all these problems

We where set in a small room with doubt doors, could get out to use the restroom without people getting up so the door could close, then opened to get out. We had 7 at our table and 1 person didn't get their food ( an appetizer of 1 crab cake($8), as their meal) until after most of us where finished with our meal, had to send back potatoes because they where under cooked, pasta was under cooked as well, overpriced food!! I don't wish to return!

It’s going to feel like you are driving to the middle of nowhere and then suddenly there is a restaurant. Service was great, staff was friendly, food was about average but if like eating endless rolls with honey butter then this is your place. It must be a popular eating establishment because people were coming in the door to eat the entire tire we were there. I wanted to get desert but I was too full from eating my pork chops, twice baked potato, and broccoli.

Food was great , waiter was great and was always checking to see if everything was in order

Atmosphere was awesome, the Filet Mignon was excellent, everything had a wonderful taste. The staff was very nice and enjoyed our meal with a young married couple and made new friends!!! Definitely will be back and highly recommend!!!

Stopped by here after a long snowy day traveling the Talimena Scenic Byway, and SO GLAD WE DID! Excellent food, excellent customer service. I guess someone accidentally threw away our leftover steak instead of boxing it up to go, so they cooked a whole new steak for us at no charge. Great atmosphere. We definitely look forward to coming back.

Sorry, for the late post...but I have to say something, about this "HIDDEN GEM" in Talihina Oklahoma! My friend & I visited here on 12/3/21...for his celebratory birthday dinner. As we walked in the door...I was immediately, greeted by my name! The atmosphere was nice...the service was EXCELLENT & the food was IMPECCABLE!!! The host made us feel...very welcome!!! We definitely, plan on visiting The Rock House, again...in the near future!!!?

Can’t say enough great things about The Rock House! The atmosphere was very nice, the staff was amazing and the food was definitely worth the 2 hour drive!

the Rockhouse is not just a place to eat a great meal. it's a great place for an EXPERIENCE! The food is 5* the staff is great and Gregg is so easy to work with to accommodate large groups. We will be back. We took a group for a 50th birthday lunch and we had the best time!
