It was a nice place. Friendly people. This was the very first time we had eaten there. It was me, my husband, and my 4 yr old son. The hush puppies were extremely hard. Some of the fish was very tuff. Okra was dry and also hard. Potatoe salad was really good. When we got out to the car my husband told me he was something when we first walked it that if I would have seen, we wouldn’t have ate there. So I asked him what, he said there was a ROACH crawling by the counter. I wish I would have seen that bc we would have left.

Hands down the best buffet around! The brisket literally falls apart in your mouth. Fish is so flaky ? Homemade hushpuppies that are out of this world. My husband and I literally drive an hour just to eat here.

Roaches were crawling on side of containers where they had food in.A older gentleman was taking his cap off of his head and swatting at the roaches .. He told his wife next to us that one roach fell in the food. I saw employee and digging with big spoon trying to find it . Sorry we are not going back.

Local buffet with good food! Obviously a local favorite as it is recommended by many locals.

Food was not up to their usual quality. Fish was thick and soggy not thin snd crunch as usual. Pinto beans were not done to my liking. All the barbecued dishes were tasteless without sauce. Service was excellent considering it was a packed house with at least a thirty minute wait for a table .

We have been going to Fish Tales for years. The original owners cooked the fish to perfection every single time we went there. The people who own it now do pretty good, but I find that the breading on the outside is often overcooked, which makes it too crunchy and I can't really taste the fish on the inside. The shrimp are good, the polish sausage, and ribs are perfectly cooked, the sides are all good but the brown beans lack any flavor. All in all, it's ok, we come back every couple months or so. If you haven't been there, it's worth a try.

A friend told us Fish Tales was really good so we drove from Ardmore, Oklahoma. When we arrived there was a long waiting list. There is only three small buffet tables. The catfish was good but I was hoping for a menu with other options. The desserts were terrible! The sides were okay! My biggest complaint was the non stop flow of people going past our table to get a plate within a few inches. Very annoying! We could have gone to Catfish Corner in Ardmore who has excellent catfish, Mexican and more options. We won't come back.

Family kind of restaurant. I believe family owned. I happened to be there when they opened up and was pleasantly surprised when they blessed the food before the meal started. That's not so common these days. Buffet style with all kinds of food to choose from. Barbecue ribs and brisket to fried shrimp and great fish. The ribs and brisket were great also. Smoked sausage and red hot links. Chicken planks as well. Two kinds of beans, red pinto beans and delicious baked beans as well as hushpuppies. All the trimmings, too. Salads, pasta salads, potato salad, and coleslaw. Great food. Nothing fancy. There are plenty of tables and plenty of parking. It's in an old round top metal building. They have great fudge sickle and cups of icecream for desert. Cake too. I love this place. Only open limited hours. Don't know about Thursdays, but are open on Fridays and Saturdays. Open at four in the afternoon. Like I said, nothing fancy but some really down home satisfying food.Vegetarian options: I suppose with all their choices you could get a pretty good meal without any meat.Kid-friendliness: Family oriented. Not particularly oriented towards kids.Parking: Gravel parking lot with some grass and some pot holes in the entrance, otherwise ok parking.

This place is worth the price of admission! This fish buffet is the best I have ever been to. Everything was perfectly prepared. They brisket melts in your mouth. Fresh cut French fries are piping hot.
