First off if you are not a local, you get served after them. Not sure how the mash potatoes were cool with hot gravey, but they were. Then they ran out of coffee, and took 15 minutes to get a cup. The place wasn't even that crowded. Had a different waitress serve me halfway through cause the other was to interested in the locals.

This is the quintessential small town cafe. You’re greeted when you walk in the door. You seat yourself and a server is at your table quickly with a menu, what the special is, and asking what you’d like to drink. The food is super tasty and very down-home flavored. Their chicken friend steak is amazing! You can tell that the sides are also made fresh. Everything is seasoned perfectly too. The pricing is beyond reasonable for any traveler or any family. If you’re going through Vici, you’ve got to stop in! (Only down side is they’re closed on Mondays.)

You can always tell when you're the outsider walking into a small town Cafe
Fortunate for me I was raised in small towns of Oklahoma

I knew I was going to have a difficulty finding something for myself to eat seeing that I'm a vegan vegetarian, but their local restaurant fix me up a salad without any of the things I don't like on it.

I have to giggle because I knew they thought I was crazy when I made sure to let them know no bacon bits no cheese, no Meats and no eggs. That person in the back making it ask the person in the front twice and then looked at each other like I was crazy making this order hahaha I know it's not something a lot of people in these small little town see, vegans, but I appreciate the salad and it sure was wonderful!

The staff is wonderful. I didn't sit down for 3 minutes in my salad was ready to roll out the door with me.

I appreciate that southern hospitality!!!

It makes this vegan happy he could get a salad on the road

Dietary restrictions: Not a lot for vegans here just a salad

Kid-friendliness: I do not see a reason why a family should have to worry about bringing their children in here! Is a little small town Cafe with good-hearted Southern folks running it
