AWESOME food, Great service 👍 a little loud, only because of how the building is when it's busy and it's always busy 😀 with the talking it can be a little overwhelming. Not the staffs fault by any means. So If you have sensory issues with noise, I would Suggest getting carry out. The staff are lovely people and very helpful and their breakfast is amazing.

I am discovering some excellent mom and pop cafés / restaurants around the Grand Lake area. This is one!

Chicken is their name, but the menu covers everything you would expect in a small-town diner. Breakfast was our meal of choice today. They lay a plate of breakfast goodness on the table here! Was told how great this place is/was by all the locals. It's ok. Nothing great. The fried chicken was dry and I got thighs intentionally for this reason. Nothing special here. Reasors fried chicken is better. Ice tea was served with a short straw that didn't fit the glass. Had to dig the straw out of the tea. Don't see any reason to go back. Might go and try the chicken fried steak. I will update as needed.
