Excellent service! Excellent food! The pie looked great, but I was too full to indulge. I had a chicken fried steak sandwich that was perfect and my sister had a hot open faced sandwich that she polished off (the most i have ever seen her eat).

We dined at Clanton's on September 15, 2025. Clanton's famous chicken fried steak was very disappointing to the point that two of us could not eat the entree. The steak was greasy with little to no batter and had a strong taste of sausage. The mash potatoes and green beans were not seasoned well. The coconut pie was very good.

It's a nice little cafe, we will definitely go back. However the 4 stars instead of 5 is the portions are pretty small for the price.
Food and service was fantastic! We ordered the chicken fried chicken and the cheeseburger, both were delicious! The service was prompt and they have a great selection of cobbler and pies. We got the coconut cream pie to go. I will definitely be returning the next time i’m in the area and will be recommending to any who are nearby!
