Excellent service! Excellent food! The pie looked great, but I was too full to indulge. I had a chicken fried steak sandwich that was perfect and my sister had a hot open faced sandwich that she polished off (the most i have ever seen her eat).
Food and service was fantastic! We ordered the chicken fried chicken and the cheeseburger, both were delicious! The service was prompt and they have a great selection of cobbler and pies. We got the coconut cream pie to go. I will definitely be returning the next time i’m in the area and will be recommending to any who are nearby!
Clanton’s Cafe has a lot going for it—deep roots on Route 66, a welcoming staff, and a cozy, nostalgic atmosphere that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. Unfortunately, the chicken fried steak didn’t live up to expectations.
