“I've eaten here maybe a dozen times in the last year and 10 of those chose a different menu item… And never have I been disappointed! I love this place, they have consistently excellent quality food and service, prices are reasonable, and all but one time when I hadn't eaten anything else that day, I went home with an ample enough take-home box to have it as lunch the next day! This is a stellar dining experience (without, I might note, the annoying ranchero style music so typical to Mexicans/Tex-Mex sitdown restaurants; there's more what's playing on radio in Mexico type of thing. It is all appropriate for any age, which is another excellent thing) right off of good old Route 66! I absolutely recommend! By the way, I am a person with extremely high standards and typically if it's not a genuinely good experience I don't review it as such so… Well, you may not trust me but if you knew me, you would know how truthful I am in pretty much all things.“

“Great service, clean clean, clean. I watched the owners reach one and a half feet above their heads to make sure all of their decorations were wiped down and dust-free... who does that! El agave!! Shrimp and SHRIMP enchiladas, beef nachos, Margaritas yum yum yum. ask for refried beans instead of the rice! not that the rice is not delicious, it is! but their refried beans taste so pure. Go out of your way and visit El Agave, you won't be disappointed“
