This is the best restaurant on Grand Lake. So good. Every time. Service is top notch. Make a a reservation and come have a 5 star meal. Dakota is our usual server and remembers our order even when we haven't been for 6 mos. Owners have "retired" to Grand Lake so they can keep their hobby of great food and service. The Farmer's market on Saturdays is phenomenal too. You can't go wrong here. The best.

Such incredible food! Chicken Santa Fe always perfect! Tried something new. Ask your waitress or waiter if you can have the artichoke dip on top of your fried potato....... If heaven were a food that potato with dip would be it. So good! Love this place!

Enjoyed my birthday dinner at The Artichoke & it's as amazing as everyone says! The grilled artichoke, blue cheese house salad, roasted garlic with fresh bread and crab cake stuffed shrimp are out of the world. A new favorite at Grand Lake!

I never have written a review for a restaurant before, but we were so impressed with The Artichoke and I wanted to share! We were seated by one of the owners and he was delightful. We later met his wife and she was equally as charming! Our server was very knowledgeable and so friendly! Food and drinks were amazing and loved the atmosphere (a bit loud as it is a small venue). Definitely make reservations as the place was packed even on a Wednesday night.

Amazing place. Feels like your a special guest in someone's home! Drinks are great. A couple of the best bottles of bourbon you can get. Don't forget to try the beef soup!

This was our first visit to The Artichoke and we will definitely return! The food was delicious, the service was wonderful and the overall ambience was great! We love going to local places and supporting their business! We have a home at Grand Lake and will soon be regulars at this restaurant! If you're looking for a nice evening out, this is the place!

Worth the drive! Attention to quality is obvious and you rarely find that any more. The owners are attentive and make sure everything is perfect. Great menu, excellent drinks, nice wine list, unique and quaint dining experience. We’ll be back!

We were staying at a cabin near by and saw this place open. We stopped in to grab some dinner and didn't know it was more of a " reservation" place. But the hostess and Jim were so kind and was able to some move things around and find us seat for dinner. Crab cakes were thick and perfectly cooked, the sauce they put on top I wish I could bottle that. It had the perfect flavor and heat to it. The fish was cooked great and not over done. Loved the setting of the place and how friendly everyone was. Next time we are in town we will have dinner here again, but will make sure to call in the reservation ahead of time.

Everything about this restaurant is first rate. It's easy to find, and the historic house is a lovely setting. The food could not be better. I had the delicious artichoke appetizer, the house salad, and an exquisite filet with mushrooms. I've never had a better steak anywhere. It was perfectly done and so tender. The wine list was more extensive than I expected, and the service was outstanding.

SO GOOD! We are staying at an Airbnb, so the host recommended it to us! So glad we were able to go for a date night! All of the food from the crackers/dip, to the artichoke and the main entrees, were all delicious! Our server was very sweet, and the owners also came by to check on us! We will definitely be back! I would eat their crackers and dip on a daily basis, it was amazing!

Went to Grand lake for a weekend fishing trip with my husband. While on the phone with a guy that lives there he recommend my husband take me there and after a long day of fishing I was down for trying the place. Husband was skeptical but we both LOVED the food. They have glasses on every table just in case anyone forgets theirs and cannot see the menu. There was a plate of toast & crackers wit what I'm assuming was an artichoke dip that was amazing. I've never been a big mushroom person but the owner suggested the stuffed mushrooms and said I needed to at least try one, and knowing my husband loves mushrooms was willing to give them a try. I could have eaten them ALL! They were AMAZING! Salad was great, I had blackened chicken and it was so moist and flavorful! I would go back the next day if I were there. It really is a 5 star restaurant coming from this picky eater!

Neat little place. Used to be a house. The service was impeccable!!! They did all they could to ensure we had a great experience, & we did! They deserve a 10 for service! Onto the food-- Good rolls served w/roasted garlic. We had the Syrian salad w/ house made lemon mint vinaigrette dressing, which was very good. Crab cakes were good, not the best I've had, but good. I prefer a little less stuffing ,& a little more crab. Delicious crust though. Husband's grilled salmon very good. Sides were very good. Nice wine list. And they brought me chocolate cake & ice cream for a birthday treat. We'll be back!
