Full disclosure, I haven’t eaten here in almost 14 years. But I think about this restaurant a lot. I was a college student living in Walters and going to school at MSU. I may very well have been one of the few other Asian people in town at the time. The family at Tongs was always so kind to me. Genuinely good people who deserves way more than they receive, and yet manage to do a whole lot with what they have. Kinda like the town of Walters itself.

So good. We tried it for the first time after recommendations from my coworkers. They do charge the buffet by the weight so just be prepared for that. We paid $40 for two buffets, a small soup, and an order of crab Rangoon. It was plentiful. Out of one box, I ate some, my daughter ate some, I ate a little more and there were still leftovers. My mom ate several times from her box too. Everything was good and fresh. The only issue I had was the spicy pork was almost all onions but...

I love coming here. It’s definitely one of my families go to places. They almost always recognize and remember our order. My toddler is such a ridiculously picky eater, but can down their chicken and noodles. My baby can’t get enough of their egg rolls. It’s just so quick and easy. I love these sweet people and their food.
