The best sushi we have had in Oklahoma, Texas, or Seattle. We had the Lady Love, USA, Cali King, and Angel rolls.

One of my favorite hidden gems. We also get it Togo, and it’s spot on each time. Their salmon nigiri is the best I’ve had in the area. Super buttery and soft. It’s perfect. The spicy cowboy is also a favorite. I also love their summer rolls, and fried spring rolls! Very friendly staff as well. My only critique is the crab ragoons aren’t great. Very very dry. But everything else I’ve had has been awesome.

I’m someone who personally thinks that food in Oklahoma doesn’t compare to food in Texas. But this place is definitely a gemmmm. Dragon Roll is 10/10 and the fried rice is soooo goood.

Easily the best fish and sushi I've had in OKC. Must try, especially if you like cozy dinner spots. Atmosphere is fantastic, service is kind, food is top tier.

Been to most, if not all, Sushi restaurants in the metro area- At first glance, 5Star may not have the upscale, super fancy exterior of many sushi restaurants, but the food/fish is absolutely incredible. I have ordered the 5 star Chefs choice Sashimi twice now, and it’s been consistently excellent. The temperature of the fish is perfect. The fish tastes clean and fresh, and you can’t beat the price for the amount you receive. 2 pieces of sashimi for $5-5.50 and the thickness is just a little thicker than a 1/4”. The salmon and tuna are so buttery, it’s actually knocked its way into my top 3 tasting sashimi/sushi now. The presentation is beautiful and simple. The customer service is exceptional. The chef baked salmon and rolled into sushi for my son (6yo) and it was exactly what we wanted. This is my 4th time visiting 5Star Sushi and I feel like I discovered a hidden gem.

Is this the same owner as Shawn’s Sushi that used to be here?

Sesame chicken was weird, unlike any sesame I’ve had before. Not for me.
I enjoyed the Kung pao beef, it tasted every fresh. One complaint is too much broth in the boxes. It leaked out into the bag, silverware and everything was sticky. There’s better options around that are cheaper.

Five Star Sushi is surprisingly great takeout. The first time I tried it I've been a fan leading me to return multiple times. I can't speak on their service or ambiance because I haven't sat down for a meal yet. I'm a tough customer to please let alone repeat when it comes to sushi and I've been here 3 times this month. If 5 Star Sushi upgraded its takeout packaging in between styrofoam (current) and LA Sugarfish bento takeout box I would order this ALL THE TIME. My favorite roll is the Five Stars Roll. I am a Fan.

The best sushi in OKC. We have been here many times and this has become our favorite place for sushi. The sushi rice is actually seasoned here, unlike many places in OKC that just use plain rice. The fish is always fresh and the presentation is top notch. There are also other noteworthy items on the menu worth trying. I recommend the steamed gyoza...the sauce that accompanies it is perfection. The tuna Poke bowl is my favorite Poke bowl here in OKC as well. The sauce on the Poke isn't traditional Hawaiian, but delicious nonetheless. I also appreciate the Thai selections on the menu for those times when I feel like having something else (red curry in particular).
