⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5
As a total foodie, I must say Chennai Central Café in Oklahoma really surprised me! I loved the warm and welcoming ambience — the Diwali décor added such a joyful touch to the place. The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely made me feel at home.
The food was flavorful and authentic — definitely a solid 4/5 for taste. I also appreciated that they don’t charge extra for rice like many other restaurants do — small gesture, but it shows they care about customer experience.

Had dinner at this restaurant recently, and honestly, it was a wonderful experience from start to finish!
The dosa was served hot with a nice spread of different chutneys and spicy sambar
The meals were equally impressive, with a variety of gravies, fresh vegetables, that really gave that home-style taste .
The staff were friendly and attentive, and atmosphere was clean and welcoming.
If you’re looking for authentic Tamil food with genuine flavors and great service, this is definitely the place to visit!

We had a very bad experience being here for a family gathering. The food was frozen and they just heated it and giving to us. The veg meals cost tooooo much... they are charging $21.99 and sambar -- full of only masala and no taste. Rasam - real worst.
Beans poriyal - its too hot. Could not have it. Full of chilli powder. They have given some thing seems like vathal/kaara kulambu. that already spoiled. That also they just heated up and given to us.
The rice is not cooked well at all.
We ordered 4 lunch thalis and all are same.
The rice qty is very very small..(kids size). we need to keep asking for rice.
Curd - we need to ask them seperately and that too they are giving as very small ... for 4 meals, they given only very small bowl of curd that will go with only one meal.
We orderded biriyani as well and no salt at all. Its just like normal rice cooked with veggies. No spicy or salt.
best go for only dosa with only chutney. (Samabr is bad and reheated again and again thats literally seen) . if you are too hungry. Dont waste money visiting this restaurant.

My family and I have loved Chennai Central Cafe for its authentic South Indian cuisine. But our first time trying the lunch Buffet last week was even better. Loved the variety of rice dishes in addition to the 2 different Sambhars paired with crispy Dosas and to top it all, the dessert! Kesari bhaat was delicious. Enjoyed the experience. Recommend!!!!

I wanted to like it but I couldn’t! Staff is friendly but it ends there. Food is bland and overpriced with small portions. That was my first and last visit.
Amazing place to get authentic South Indian food!

The idli-vada combo is my favorite ,authentic and delicious! Tamarind and lemon rice are also great. The food truly has a traditional Indian taste. The staff, especially the girls, are kind and accommodating. Oh yes! don’t miss the filter coffee.
However, service could be a bit more attentive and quicker. It would help if they kept an eye on tables for additional orders and offered to go boxes instead of asking customers to get them themselves . I love this place and bring many friends here just sharing honest feedback because I want them to succeed even more!

Absolutely fantastic doesn't convey how much I love this place. The food is superb, the owner is so sweet and so personable. You can tell how much of her heart and soul she puts into the restaurant when you taste the first bite. She is opening a party room right next door and it's beautiful. Will be back 1000%. Best Indian Restaurant in OKC. I'm from Houston and have struggled to find Indian food in OKC, until I walked in this door.
