Much much more than a Deli and market! Don't let the "deli" title and unassuming storefront fool you. The menu is extensive and authentic, with plenty of treats to tempt you in the market. My salmon dish was wonderful, the hummus appetizer was excellent.

*Featured on Diners, Drive ins, and Dives." Hidden gem Persian restaurant and Persian spice store. Recipes were healthy, similar to my grandmas recipes, lightly salted, so the natural flavors shine. The Kashk Bademjoon (eggplant appetizer) is ridiculously savory & delicious. Shirazi Salad was perfectly seasoned, not too sour. The gheymeh melts in your mouth with rice. The kabobs are authentically Persian. The baklava is a perfect dessert. Highly recommended 👌.

Vegetarian options: Just ask. Persian food has something for all foodie palates.

I ordered their most expensive plate which was 1 kebob with another filet kebob. Filet was cooked perfectly at medium rare. My friend got the kebob sandwich which he said he would order again . I will go back to try other items on menu.

I had not been there in 20 years, and I was disappointed how much it had changed. It was once a vibrant, busy place, always packed, the grocery selection was skimpy. I guess the economy and covid took its toll. It needs remodeling, good PR, to bring it back to its glory.

Really good food, and nice atmosphere, great customer experience and welcoming, looks like the owner he is the one running the show, and dealing directly with customers, so for sure it will be great, Really recommend for people who are looking for Mediterranean food.

The food at travel by taste is second to none. A little out of the way and by no means convenient, it is one of the best gyros I've had and the baklava is delicious! Definitely recommend for the food and the selection of spices and food they have in the market. I already ate the food, here's a pic ofnthe baklava! Parking lot is the worst part of this little gem!!!

Amazing food . You will be hooked. I am familiar with this kind of food and just so delicious .The owner and family are super kind and helpful. I would say the best food in OKC. Just try it trust me. Repeat customers that's says it all try every dish you will not be disappointed i give it 6 stars. If I could.

The owner is amazing, so welcoming, and lovely to talk to. The deli is awesome and has a variety of goods. The food was excellent and way more than we could eat! We are so glad we made the drive, it was well worth it. We will definitely be back!
