The pork chop special was excellent. The waitress brought me a steak knife but it was so tender that my fork took care of anything that was needed. Everything was seasoned to perfection! The seasoned green beans were great as well. Heck, the Texas toast was as good as it gets! My wife really enjoyed her hamburger but I know that she was wishing that she would have gotten the special too!

I flew to Watonga, OK for lunch, and the attendant at the airport suggested Eagle's Nest. I'm SOOOO glad that I gave them a try.

The atmosphere was nostalgic of a small town cafe with photos and memorabilia of the local high school. Seating was adequate with tables and booths.

Great food fast, not fast food. Chicken salad sandwich on a bun, fantastic.
I don't know why Google says it's temporarily closed ... we ate the chicken salad sandwich for lunch today. ?
2 years on and the chicken salad sandwich is just as good!
