Roman Nose State park is a jewel in the center of the state. Friendly & capable staff, natural beauty, and a good history lesson on where and how Native People lived. Thanks for a great vacation.

Much nicer campground than Salt Plains. Nice sites, lots of hiking opportunities (don’t miss the springs) and a cute general store where we had breakfast, lunch & dinner. I had good pancakes and eggs and my husband had a nice veggie omelet. They have marble rye toast! But thought it was odd for a state park to have free Bibles and coyote skulls for sale. ? Once again, never saw a ranger.

Cute pool to take the kiddos to for a swim. Easy hikes for kids to see the waterfalls. We had an amazing time at Roman Nose State Park.

This course is a new favorite. The greens are so pure. Challenges on almost every hole. Love the elevation changes, and loved the greens

Rooms are comfortable, and the beds are ok. The restraunt has really good pizzas, and the ranch dressing is amazing!! The golf course is beautiful and hard (bring extra balls). Lots of beautiful trails paved and unpaved. Amazing pool and picnic area.

I was going to come to watonga and go for a walk. Then I saw that your police department arrests parents out for walks with small children. So now I will not spend my time or money here. Your town is not safe for families because your leaders gave badges to psychopathic morons.

Went hiking on trails to the springs of water. Seen caves and several natural springs. Has a little area you can get in clear water to cool off very nice and cool restrooms. There are 2 pools the main pool is nice and big with slide. Nice and relaxing.

Nearby activities: Nice walking trails, water springs that kids can actually play in to cool off and big nice pool.

Walkability: Very beautiful scenery. Calm relaxing shaded.

Played a round of golf on one of the most picturesque courses in the state. It’s a humbling experience for most golfers. Absolutely loved it and already planning my return. Thanks, Leslie for all the pointers. See you soon! Stayed a short drive away at Lucky Star Watonga!

we used the facility for a family reunion and the experience was awesome! The staff is friendly and the service was good. We used the Outlook Catering for our breakfast and lunch and the food was good. Irving was in charge of the buffets and breakfast was ready at 8 am and lunch at 12 noon as we asked. Irving was and his staff were friendly and very service oriented. After the meals were served they put all of the leftovers in to go boxes for our family to eat take home or eat later.

Nearby activities: Lots of outdoor activities for adults and kids. Check with the front desk because there are hikes and rock painting etc

Safety: Very kid friendly and a very safe environment

Food & drinks: The food and service was great

We tent camp every year and this year our campsite was one of the teepees. Our 4 year old grandson loved sleeping in it. We went to the natural springs every day and did a couple of hikes. We made some new friends and had a great time!!!
