This is the only non-franchise restaurant I could find in Watonga. It is small, and probably hasn't changed much in 30 or 40 years. I was too early for lunch. Breakfast is served untill 11. I had eggs, sausage, bacon, hashbrowns, and biscuits and gravy. The food wasn't bad, but it was all over cooked and on the bland side. The kitchen in this place is tiny, so I wasn't surprised that everything was frozen not fresh (besides the eggs). No sausage in the gravy, which would at least perk it up a little. The waitress was nice, but a little in the weeds during my visit, so she didn't get a chance to check the table before I was ready to go. I completely understand and it wasn't an issue. Solid 6/10, and if I find myself in Watonga later in the day, I'll stop in to try the lunch menu. But I would skip breakfast.

Just ate here today. It's amazing. The food is so well cooked I am SHOCKED it was so cheap. We are talking pre pandemic prices. And it is GOOD FOOD. I even took what I couldn't eat with me. You guys are awesome thank you!!!

Wonderful little place! Food was great! Service was above and beyond. Saw worker hold the door for two different patrons with disabilities. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. Said the owner was her dad. I definitely recommend this little gem.
