I've been coming through this area for years this place has been here that long there's not many places like this around anymore great food very reasonably priced nice family run atmosphere very simple but delicious.. fried chicken dumplings meatloaf catfish.. great vegetables and side dishes.. all southern comfort food.. awesome

My Chi Omega sorority sisters stopped at this restaurant on the way to a “Sisters of the 70’s” trip to Heber Springs Arkansas. The food was excellent, good home cooking. The fried chicken was out of this world as was all the sides and desserts! I would recommend this place to anyone!

We pulled in for a quick lunch and I’m so glad we did! The okra was hit and tasty and the chicken chunks were huge! If you’ve been missing fried chicken you won’t be disappointed!
I have been stopping in here since the mid 90s. I am a otr driver.the family runs it and have always been super nice and the buffet is excellent, probably the best fried chicken across I-40 from cali to nc. They have semi parking and don't mind you sleeping for your 10 hr break, it's good homemade country cooking like you grandma's made when you were a kid, stop in and support your local mom and pop restaurant, they are getting harder to find and there prices are cheaper than the big Corp. Truckstops.
Food was exceptionally good. Omemade taste. Try the frued chicken, apple cobbler, and purple cabbage slaw. Pricing was very good. Atmosphere is older but pleasantly adorned. The buffet was full of options. Well worth the stop to eat! Recommend!
