Some of the best BBQ I've ever had! The burnt ends are like meat candy and the ribs will ruin you for eating them anywhere else. The sides are also inventive and delicious. This is a destination BBQ joint that is totally worth the trip. Show up early if you want your pick of all the meats, and bring an appetite!

I brought my leftovers home and ate it the next day, using a different barbecue sauce. It made a huge difference! I'm not a fab of Butcher' sauce. Everything was tender, but lacked in flavor except for the turkey, which was very surprising for me. The potato salad was good. Great staff

I genuinely wanted to like this place. I’d heard the hype, seen the social media posts, and was ready to make the drive out to Wellston for what I hoped would be an amazing BBQ experience. But what I got was a reminder that good food doesn’t excuse bad service — or a bad attitude.
First, the tone on the website is shockingly condescending. Instead of being welcoming or appreciative of potential guests, it reads like a warning — essentially telling customers they should be prepared to wait, that they’re lucky just to be there, and that they should lower their expectations around how long it takes to be served. If you know people are waiting in line for extended periods, why not do something about it instead of just pre-emptively defending the delay?
Here’s an idea: staff appropriately for peak hours. You clearly know when your busiest times are — it's not a surprise. Rather than pushing the narrative that “great food takes time” while customers stand in the sun for an hour or more, how about respecting people’s time and expanding your capacity to match the demand?
The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t worth the tone, the wait, or the overall vibe that you're doing everyone a favor just by being open. There are plenty of BBQ joints in Oklahoma that serve with pride and respect. Unfortunately, The Butcher BBQ Stand missed the mark for me.

, This is easily some of the best BBQ I have had anywhere, and I don’t say this lightly! I had a half rack of ribs, potato salad and the apple baked beans. Everything was top notch and served in generous portions!

By far the best barbecue in Oklahoma, this place can hold its own against Texas barbecue!

Ive been eating here for several years now, I thought it was perfect the first time, but they somehow keep getting better and better.

They definitely focus on the details here, and the result is world class BBQ, happy and helpful staff, and my personal favorite dining room of all time.

It's super refreshing to spend your money somewhere that is concerned with the value of the experience they provide you.

Food was smothered in sauces and or spices to cover up the lack of flavor. Ribs felt and tasted like boiled ribs then thrown in smoker. We bought the meat locker a and 2 pops for a variety since it was our 1st time there. $98 later.. we don't have to go back. We could have saved the 1hr drive and money by eating at swadleys !
