Very nice restaurant, waitress was excellent. The steak and salmon were good but all of the sides and appetizer were very overpriced for the quality of food that you get. The food is not worth the price.

Food was amazing. I enjoyed the BBQ burger and creme brulee. Everything was so great. Owner and waitress were both super nice. Have to say one of my most favorite burgers I have ever had. I will definitely come back next time I am in town.

We both had the Fillet. It was done to perfection. The Cesar salad was simple, fresh and great. Service was fast, attentive and could not have been better. It wasn't busy, but we were eating early in the evening. Lots of locals. And to top it off, Cream brulee and cheese cake very good.Unexpected delight in such a small community.?

Passing through Woodward we googled restaurants and chose Al's. Great experience, food and service was great! Topping it off, when we finished our meal a man wearing an apron (who we assumed was the cook) came to our table to ask if everything was OK, we replied that everything was great and he replied " but you didn't eat it all" (priceless)! This was the owner apparently concerned maybe he had done something wrong. We would like to give Al's 10 stars!!!

Some of the negative reviews below are misleading, or perhaps were from a different era. Stopped by for a weekday lunch. Aside from an unpleasant, plumbing smell, the experience was quite good. Service was prompt, the restaurant was clean. Lunch prices are very reasonable $18 For a strip steak with two sides advertised as 12 ounces, but was bigger than that, and very well cooked. I will stop again when working in Woodward, a refreshing break from my usual, Taqueria's, or Tex-Mex, which are the reliable, go to's in smaller towns. Definitely recommend.

Food was great. However, I called in the order to pick up, and the man with an accent was pretty rude. I signed my ticket putting 0 on the tip line and the total underneath. My bank statement now shows that an extra $5 was charged to my card. It’s a shame the service is terrible and dishonest, because the food was actually pretty good. I won’t be back.

We returned to Al's the next night. It was great again. This time I had the salmon with mashed potatoes. I asked for it to be cooked well done. My husband had the chicken fried steak. We were both pleased. The restaurant was very busy but everything seemed to be running smoothly.
Was decent, but they were short staffed and were trying their best. I ordered the ribeye medium, it came out rare. Had to send it back to get to my original order temp. I should have gotten the chicken fried steak instead?.

Highly recommend. Not a restaurant you would expect to find in a smaller town. When you walk in you feel like you just walked into a five star restaurant in a big city. Very clean and elegant, wait staff was very friendly and the food OMG amazing. We got desert to go and brought it home to eat later in the evening and it was just as good as the food we ate while there. Thank you to the owners and staff for an amazing date night with my wife.

Excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere. Jackie served as our waitress, and I must say that she is a seasoned professional who is always a pleasure to be around. The cuisine was flawless. My wife and I went there for lunch, and the food was excellent. A lovely establishment with excellent food. I can't wait until the next round!
