This place has the best Wings in Yukon OK, or at least for fast food. I like their original, but the spicy is were its at. You can also get the spice on the side, so if you're sharing with someone who loves it hot, but you don't. This is also a great option. The wings pull clean off the bone. 180 turn around in quality and service for the best compared to when we visited 3 years ago. They're now my Go-To!

Well this is the last time I order from this location. Golden Chick as a whole is quite good. However, this location is absolutely horrible. Every time we order, the rolls are hard, the chicken is old, the macaroni and cheese is a soggy glob, mashed potatoes and gravy - no gravy, etc. I did get all my items in my order this go around which is a shocker. I lived next to the one on Rockwell and it was always delicious and the order was right every time. Drive the few extra miles for a true Golden Chick experience.

Your tea is never checked or maybe even changed 2nd time I have gotten bad spoiled tea.
Very greedy with the hot sauce. The whole point with fried chicken is you gotta have it with the hot sauce. I ordered 15 piece chicken wings and asked for a handfull of hot sauce for my family. There's 8 of us, and lady gave me only 3 packet saying she cannot give anymore. Thats 3 packet out of 8 of my family that will have the hot sauce. Now I have to make an inconvenient stop at grocery store just to get some Louisiana sauce. The chickens are good, but not good without the hot sauce. Never coming back to golden chick if they're going to be greedy with the sauce.

We went to this Golden Chick on May 31 and we got there about 20 minutes before they were closing. We had been to a graduation in Norman and wanted Golden Chick pretty bad. We didn’t want to go to the one closest to our home, the one on SW 59th, because of the multiple bad experiences we’ve had. The young lady that helped us on the 31st was so kind and helpful. I will be driving to this location in the future because of how amazing the service was. I will also say we had a pretty big order and I felt bad but she didn’t make me feel bad for ordering so much close to closing at all.

Someone said this is the best fried chicken in town , I hope not. I expected more from Oklahoma. I was visiting family that moved here last year and one day for lunch I decided to come and get some takeout. I got the Breast and Wing 2 Piece Dinner to go with Dirty Rice and Roll. The menu is pretty good sized and they also have Rotisserie Chicken , not just fried. Chicken Tenders and Chicken Sandwiches also. They have about 10 different sides to choose from.
The chicken was cooked good , but was underwhelming. It was very plain and I did ask for one of the sauces to try , but of course it wasn't in the bag when I got home. The Dirty Rice was a little stronger taste than most places make theirs. It was okay. The Roll of course was big and fluffy. Definitely pre-packaged , not a freshly made roll or biscuit. Since it was my first time coming to a Golden Chick I looked at the menu for a bit and told the cashier it was my first time and he didn't try to rush me or be rude. There were no other customer at the time. After I ordered one did come in.
They also do a 10% Discount for Veterans and Civil Servants which I think is great since so many places don't do it as much as they used to. I really don't see myself coming to another Golden Chick when I visit my family again. I think their are better choices out there. The price was reasonable , but the food was just too plain for me.
