A close friend told us how good this restaurant was, so we had to try. Our 1st visit was in November of this year. The 23 miles travel from our home was worth it. My husband loves Mexican food. This is a mixture of New Mexican inspired food. He said the Chile Relleno ($16) was superb, the best he had eaten in Oklahoma. He also ordered a solo crispy taco ($4), which he said is okay okay. I enjoyed my grilled and smothered burrito ($12). Friendly receptionist and server. Nice building and friendly atmosphere. Will definitely go again. There are other food we want to try.

I ordered the traditional enchiladas, mild spicy. Unfortunately they were too spicy for me. My husband had the chile rellenos. They were breaded with a cornbread mixture and deep fried. I thought they were good, but my husband was used to an oven baked kind. Be careful - the end of the chile rellenos is very spicy. The extra ground beef taco did not have cheese on it - it was just ground beef with a little lettuce on top with a side of green chile sauce. We both liked the refried beans and rice. Also, I liked the guacamole.
We were surprised that the chips only came with salsa and not with cheese sauce. Also, there is an extra charge for the soppapilas - which was also surprising.
We ordered a piece of the chocolate pecan pie to take home. It was delicious! I highly recommend any of their homemade pies.

Green Chile Kitchen is a Yukon gem. Parked on the historic part of RT 66 entering Yukon, you’d blow right by it if you were staring at the flour mill. So pay attention.
If you love true Southwestern flavor and hearty ingredients, this place nails it like no other. The vibe is infectious and inviting. The staff is knowledgable about what they can offer and will predict your tastebud’s next need.
I’m personally privy to the smothered burrito that is drenched in white queso that will make your eyes roll in the back of your head. Or the Taquitos topped with your choice of mild or hot green chilies, sprinkled with melted cheddar jack cheese, and buddied up with beans and rice.
Green Chile Kitchen is a must and a staple.

Their Adovada is almost as good as mine. The green chili cheese burger rocks, get some extra green chilis for it. We love the Shishito peppers. Best green chili sauce this side of Albuquerque.

Terrible service there were a bunch of people standing around doing nothing we were the only people there and it still took forever for anyone to acknowledge us we asked for quest and they brought a large plate of it with out telling us there were other sizes no tortillas and the Price for wat u r getting is outrageous just do yourself a go to chelinos
