I don't know why , but Waffle House always seems to make me happy. I recently moved to Mustang from Las Vegas where we don't have a Waffle House . I always go to at least one when I visit the Carolinas and have never had a bad meal or bad experience. I've been to the other location in Yukon twice and this was my first time at this one.
Since I was by myself I sat at the counter. It was busy , probably the after church crowd. Elle greeted me and I ordered since I already knew what I wanted , All American Breakfast is my go to. I may change it a little , but it's what I always get. Years ago in the North Carolina my son got the Bacon Cheeseburger and it was really good. I will get that one day for lunch.
Anyway , the staff was busy cooking and washing dishes and since I was at the end of the counter by the register I was right in the middle of everything. Ha ha. Elle was really good about saying Hi to everyone that walked in the door. They did a great job of cleaning the tables so they would be available for the next guests coming in and of course the counter. Elle checked on me several times and let me know my order would be up shortly. I understood it was busy and lots of customers came in before me , so I had no problem waiting.
I got Ham , Scrambled Eggs , Grits , Toast , Waffle , and a Mr Pibb. Grits were cooked perfectly , Scrambled Eggs were good and a little fluffy , Waffle was on point as usual , Toast was a little over toasted but it was okay. I should've got Bacon instead of the Ham. I forgot it's the slice of thick ham like you make a sandwich with not the bone-in type slice of ham. The Ham tasted okay , but not what I wanted. From what I understand not all Waffle House locations do a Military Discount , but this one does which I appreciate as a Veteran. $13 for breakfast is a good deal.
I would recommend this location , but I personally think I like the vibe a little better at the Westmark Drive location. Either way you can't go wrong at a Waffle House. I will take it over Cracker Barrel or Huddle House , etc.

I've never eaten at Waffle House before. I decided to try it today, since our hotel is within the same plaza. I decided I would get a meal to go. When I asked the young lady for the menu to place my order, she said there would be a 20% upcharge since it's a to go order. Of course I didn't place a order. Is this normal protocol for Waffle House?

I waited 15 minutes for my order to be taken and 20 minutes for it to be brought. In total, I spent 1.5 hours eating eggs.
Place was almost empty 3 tables were ready to place order . 1 had 3 people 1 had 1 person n my table 2 of us. Waitet name was Zachery was not very use full did not come over to our table to ask for drink order . Waited about 15 min before i called him over. Brought coffee no spoon no cream no sugar . Took order noticed he just stood there never gave paper to cook nor called it out. 40 min later he comes to ask about our order again. Wow at this moment we said you still have not placed it ??? NO he replied. After everyone had gotten served and other people that came and went After US....

Will never go to this location again. Walked in, wasn’t greeted by one person. I’m standing in line to order behind another person and still no one acknowledges that I’m there yet three waitresses and the cook all look at me several times.
Finally when a waitress does acknowledge she tells me to move over and wait a minute so she can check someone else out. I definitely did not appreciate being dismissed when trying to purchase something.

Absolutely worst experience ever. All cooks should be fired. Raw undercooked food , horrible chilli with 1 single peice of cheese just laid on top. That old lady needs to be fired yesterday.
