My family and I were very excited to try out this restaurant for our typical fish n’ chips tradition on Good Friday. We made sure to call almost a week in advance (Sunday, March 24th to be exact) to pre-place an order for the following weekend (Friday, March 29th). Upon placing our order over the phone, I was originally told our preferred pick up time (5:30pm) was perfectly okay. About 10 minutes later, I received a call back from the restaurant explaining that 5:30pm was too busy of a time on that particular day but, that they could do 6:45pm instead. I had no issues with the time switch as I understand it’s quite the busy holiday.Fast forward to Good Friday itself, my husband went to go pick up our order at 6:45pm. The woman explained that he was extremely late as it had been ready since 5:30pm?!?! My husband was shocked and confused; nobody had called to tell us that they had switched our pick up time AGAIN or, called to inform us that we were apparently “late”. The woman then stated that he could just “put the food in the air fryer” as well as “well we have had to turn many other people away that have wanted halibut today” which was disrespectful at most. My husband explained that he no longer wanted the food as it had been sitting for too long and was met with a rude response.Again, I understand it’s a busier day then most although, the disorganization was very disappointing!

1st time there very clean friendly and affordable.Parking: We ordered 5 meal and patties all freash with large servings. ? Kid-friendliness: We ordered fish/ jerk/ patties. Service was very friendly like all moms on a good day?

Ordered the halibut fish and chips and the jerk chicken, I didn't enjoy the fishy taste of the halibut and the chips were mostly edible; the jerk chicken was horrendous but I am spoiled by the restaurant at Union Station that has the very best jerk chicken (and my own is better). Jerk chicken was mostly bones, hardly any chicken, the spice was okay and the rice was edible. The coleslaw was good. The delivery was on time and a very nice young man delivered it.

Don’t order halibut. Get a tiny excuse of a piece of fish. Very stale and chips drowning in oil. Not the same service as we used to get. Won’t go back again.

LOOK NO FURTHER!!!This is ABsolutely the fish and chips place to go to. Fist time here tonight and I ordered WAY too much. The haddock is PERFECT, not a tiny square you get from other places. The onion rings are top NOTCH with the perfect amount of batter. Ginormous amount of fries which can be good in the air fryer the next day with the left over gravy… and if you have curds, toss em in the air fryer with the fries and gravy to make yourself a poutine!! Who complains about too many FRIES!?? Ladies working there were extra friendly. Thanks so much and I will see you again. I’ll come to say thanks as well.

Stopped in on on our way through town.The food was fantastic, the batter was incredible, lightest I have ever tasted.The onion rings were huge and perfect.But what really sets this place apart ??The owners and their team.We had the best experience, we have had in a long time.Incredible, Excellent, Outstanding, Amazing service !!!!We live at least 2 hours away, and anytime we are headed that way, we will be making it a point to stop in.Not just for the food, but to visit the wonderful owner and their team.You both made our day, thank you !!Many Blessings to both of you !!

Fish is nicely battered (not too heavy), and coleslaw is really good too. Skip the mushrooms and pickles maybe but the main event is solid

Wow! How did I not know that Acton had an incredible Jamaican place?We ordered the Oxtail, spicy Pattie’s, coco bread and got to sample the Mac n cheese (which was to die for)!Everything tasted incredible and we are already looking forward to ordering it again.We will for sure be ordering the Pattie’s by the dozen next time! And I don’t think I can ever eat another bun again, now that I’ve tried their coco buns.Customer service was like no other, so friendly and kind.Thank you for being our new go-to place in town.

Amazing food! By far the best fish and chips, not just in Acton, but that I've ever had. So far I've tried the haddock, halibut, cod, chips, battered sausage, fish cakes, j*** chicken, curry chicken, patty, cole slaw, gravy, malt, and don't get me started on the homemade tartar sauce that I wish I could buy by the jar! All awesome. The selection of imported drinks from Jamaica and UK are great too. Portion sizes are huge and the service is nothing short of incredible! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
