The service was friendly and courteous. The chicken momos were fantastic! The perfect amount of heat and flavours. Their basmati rice is light and fluffy and first quality not like some other Indian restaurants where you know they are using cheap rice. The butter chicken in my opinion was too sweet. I added some lemon juice to the sauce and it fixed things for me. Next time I will mention that I like my butter chicken more tangy than sweet. The chicken in the butter chicken was perfectly cooked. I will definitely order from the Clay oven again!

I heard this restaurant was under new management. I had visited before and was quite satisfied. I ordered the lunch special which consisted of buttered chicken (Excellent) rice (Excellent) samosa (Excellent) naan (Excellent) and chickpea marsala (Excellent)The young man that was serving me was so pleasant and informative, we chatted about the different flavours and origins of the various dishes. I was impressed and can’t wait to come back and try out the dinner menu.I highly recommend this restaurant.

Ordered the "Meal for Two" for take out, everything was great. I'm not sure why some people seem to be so focused on some of the recipe changes with the new management. The food is still very authentic.I only wished the "Meal for Two" came with two naan instead of one (one per person instead of a half) but since there is more than enough food in the combo it does not impact my experience or review. I did find the butter chicken to taste similar to a tomato soup but since it is literally made of the same ingredients as a tomato soup I can't consider that to be a fault.

Picked up the “meal for two” and everything tasted great. The somosas, chana masala and onion bhaaji were the stars of the night! The portions for the most part are generous, we had plenty of leftovers. Something to note is that the meal for 2 only comes with one naan so we each had half. I will know to order more naan next time.

There was a mistake with our order and our food ended up taking significantly longer than expected. The staff were very kind. They offered us some complimentary things to try which was great. Unfortunately the flavour of the butter chicken was comparable to Campbell’s soup, though the chicken was very tender. My friend ordered the Chana masala which was delicious but I was quite disappointed by the butter chicken.

We live in the area and just picked up take out from Clay Oven Tandoori Grill in Acton. Wow! Incredible flavours. Absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back soon.
Charged me an additional garlic naan instead of just an upgrade to one due to a phone misunderstanding.I decided to buy both naans anyway cause why not but asked for a cup of garlic butter, the man agreed and assured it’d be inside. When the second man handed me the food I double checked and he confirmed that they specifically added a cup of garlic butter. They both lied.
