Swiss Country House Restaurant

Service was very slow: - took 15 + minutes to come and get a drink order, then took about 10 minutes to get our drinks; -our reservation was for 6:45 and our dinners came almost an hour later; -we had all you can eat fish and the fish had a lot of bones and was dry; -the ambiance of the restaurant has changed...the Swiss decorated restaurant has pretty much disappeared :( and is definitely not as cozy. -a plus, they had linen serviettes.

Good food extremely under staffed we waited 1 hr 45 mins for our food. One person got their food 20 mins after everyone else!! Waitressed very stressed. We won't go there again. Atmosphere no longer Swiss, no signs on road or on restaurant

Unfortunately we visited Swiss country house today for the Sunday buffet and it was really gone down hill. ( waitresses were lovely) Showed up for reservation on time. Upon arrival there was very little food available in the buffet. We took what was available and waited in hopes more food would come out as all trays were empty excluding the curry and rice dish that was full the entire time. We waited a very long time before deciding to call it quits and go home as there was no food coming out and a large group of people had just came in. Management and kitchen staff seem to have no idea on how to keep a buffet running. The waitresses were friendly and fast but unfortunately there was no food to eat. I will not be returning with my family to this once amazing location.

Waited 2 hours for our food. When it came, the pickerel was average but the steak sandwich was inedible because of the meet being overcooked.

The chicken schnitzel is always perfect. My choice of a rosti side , a good one! Their berry cheesecake is light and fruity. So good. Everything comes with a smile. Bonus!

We took my mother here for Easter Brunch. Fantastic buffet and overall experience! Will definitely be back. So worth the drive.

I selected moderate for noise level because they had live entertainment that evening. Normally it's quite quiet. We have eaten here three times now and enjoyed it every time. I love the seafood pasta!

My Elderly parents and Wife, went for dinner. The food was excellent, portions were great. We will definitely be returning, you should go eat there they have something for everyone.

Arrived on a snowy evening for dinner with family.
Service was delightful. All the staff members we interacted with were pleasant and friendly.
Everything was decent and everyone enjoyed their dinners. My only disappointment was that my dinner (jaeger schnitzel) was small, un-breaded pieces of meat. I thought it would be in the similar style of the Weiner schnitzel.

Great fun in relaxed setting with toe-tapping live music the night we were there! Servers were fantastic & food was pretty good (decided to try the specials for the day). Definitely will be back!

We had a reservation. Understaffed with poor service Stuck us in the bar so could not see or hear live music Will never go back!

Mike is fabulous. The food has real bacon and real vegetables. The tequila was smooth. The local retired gynaecologist from England is a bonafide Canadian. Mike enjoyed our entertainment.

The best meal out we have had in some time. Well worth the drive from Parry Sound. Excited to go back in January to celebrate a birthday. Amazing food! Well priced!
