The flavor was bold, spicy, and perfectly balanced – unlike any wings I’ve ever had before. The taste really stood out, and the wings were cooked just right. Whilst Al Baik Pizza is a top Halal pizza place in Durham, there is a need for a change with their policy re: delivery or at least be up front with the customer if you cannot meet their order in the specified time. This past weekend we ordered pizza from them for the Afrocentric Program in Ajax. We knew we had to feed the 25 students by 12:30pm. When we called at around 11:00 am to place our order they told us that we had to wait until 12:00pm and order via Skip the Dishes. We informed them that we had to have the pizza by 12:30pm. We were told that this would not be a problem. At 12:40pm we phoned the store to ask about our delivery as we had the children waiting for their lunch. We were told it would arrive in 5-6 minutes. The food did not arrive until 1:02pm. It was incredibly embarrasing and awkward as the parents/guaridans had come to pick up their children only to find out that they had not had lunch yet. Children were to be picked up was at 1:00pm. Many of the parents/guardians were gracious and allowed us to give their children the treat part of their lunch first. This kind of situation should never have happened. They should not have promised to have the pizza ready and delivered to us by 12:30pm, especially since they have been in business for awhile and know exactly how long it takes for them to prepare 6 pizzas, cook them and to deliver them to a spot in Ajax. We are a small organization, who cannot afford to have any hiccups like this, especially when parents/guardians are entrusting us with their children. Unfortunately, we will now have to turn to a big box pizza chain that offers Halal. We tried to support the local small establishment and it didn't work out and the worst part of it was that there was no compensation or explanation given for their error. Next time, be smart and let people know the truth - don't just take their money and then not meet the expectation - you said you would have the pizza to us by 12:30pm and that did not happen.

I’ve tried their pizza several times, and every time it proves to be the best in town with an incredible flavor. Service is excellent, and the staff are warm and welcoming. The only suggestion for management is to consider renovating and expanding the place to match the quality of the food.

It's not family based reviews. It's legitimately a custom review again. One time I had noticed that in my uh, uh, DoorDash, app or skip the dishes I believe was in delivery at the time. To start closing swim, so I've got phoned in any way. And the the staff actually offered to deliver it themselves with no extra fee. Well, speak about integrity and honesty. And the loyalty to their customers.Man, I love this place

We recently picked up an order that included an 18-inch Party Meat Lovers Pizza, Crispy Chicken Burger Combo, Broasted Chicken, and Philly Cheese Steak (Beef), and overall, the experience was fantastic.
The 18-inch Party Meat Lovers Pizza was a big hit, especially with the kids. Loaded with toppings, perfectly melted cheese, and a nicely baked crust, it was hearty, satisfying, and full of flavor. The Crispy Chicken Burger Combo was another favorite, the chicken was golden, crunchy, and juicy inside, with seasoning that gave it a subtle Middle Eastern touch, making it stand out from your typical fried chicken burger. The Broasted Chicken was equally impressive, moist, flavorful, and well-spiced, with a crisp exterior that’s hard to beat.
The only dish that fell slightly short was the Philly Cheese Steak Beef Sandwich. While the flavor was decent, the presentation and overall appeal weren’t quite on par with the other items. A bit of improvement in filling quantity, bread choice, and appearance could make it a winner too.
Overall, Al Baik Pizza and Broast delivered an excellent takeaway meal with standout pizza, chicken, and burgers. With a little refinement on the steak sandwich, it has all the makings of a go-to spot for both family meals and casual comfort food cravings.
Amazing broast chicken, was very juicy and it was so nice and crispy as well. The fries were also amazing, fresh and crispy.
Uncle Shakeel is also amazing, a friendly guy who makes all his food fresh, doesn't skimp out on the portions as well, chicken broats pieces are very generous.
Not the best atmosphere for sitting. Would recommend getting takeout, but the food is definitely worth it!
