Walked in for the first time today and was greeted by such lovely staff at the desk. I ordered a vanilla latte, but a maple latte was made by mistake. She kindly let me know right away and offered to make the vanilla as well, but I told her it was no problem. Funny enough, I had been debating ordering the maple and only chose vanilla at the last second. I ended up keeping the maple latte, and I am so glad I did. It was absolutely delicious with the perfect amount of sweetness and served nice and hot. Great customer service, a happy accident, and a drink I will definitely order again. Loved it!

My friend and I had our first visit to Bean and Basket yesterday for my birthday and it was a very enjoyable experience; the incredible vibe and cosy atmosphere was a highlight to my day. The staff and the owner were so personable. We purchased some great greeting cards and sipped on chai lattes. Will be going back soon.

this place is a total hidden gem in Pickering Village. It’s not just a coffee shop; it’s a cute hybrid plant and gift store, so you can browse handmade local goods while you wait for your drink. The espresso is top-tier (they use Pilot beans), and the Maple Latte is easily one of the best I’ve had in the area—not too sweet, just right. The only minor thing is the seating; it’s pretty limited, so if you go during the Saturday rush, don't expect to grab a table easily. But for the vibe and quality? It’s absolutely worth the stop.

Such a lovely experience at this cozy cafe! The customer service was so warm and friendly. I tried one of their holiday menu items, the gingerbread latte. I also was recommended to try their oat fudge bar. Everything was delicious. This cafe is perfect for a catch up with friends or a solo date, which is what I did. That oat fudge bar was divine, I wish I got two haha. Paid $11 for items pictured. Would definitely come back here!

We came by at the end of one of those events. We got some drinks, and looked around the products display.
Very friendly. They have Babyccino drink, a bit of the frothed up milk from a regular (adult) beverage, free for the little ones. So thoughtful to have the little ones feel included with drink in hand! My daughter enjoyed hers 😊.

I randomly stopped by on my way to an appointment and I’m so glad I did. Omggg one of the best lattes I have EVER had. I tried their maple latte and the flavor is absolutely rich and not too much! I LOVED it. I wish I lived closer because I’d be getting my daily coffee from here. They also have cute little items that they sell inside so I got a beeswax candle :)
Baristas weren’t the friendliest, seemed dismissive and rushed though the cafe was quite empty. Not the warm welcome you’d expect from a local small business! The cafe itself has a nice ambience, drinks and pastries are average.
